Reason for Gloom

By Salman Mugsi • Nov 7th, 2008 • Category: Politics • No Responses

The reality is that this nation has been deceived once again, and the deceivers are as oblivious as the nation is right now. The deceives are flashing their smiles and making tall claims while touring the world like hell, and the nation is suffering from the shortages of every thing.

The reason why people are so much angry upon the government of Pakistan People’s Party is that they though that they would get a new Pakistan after 18th February, in which there will be no Musharraf and his policies and there would be no kowtowing of the government in front of America, and there would be concerted effort on the part of government for austerity and for the conservation of resources and the rulers will lead by example and a true democratic society would become a dream, a passionate dream for every Pakistani.

But alas, that doesn’t happen and now Pakistan is in the grip of every kind of crisis. In the darkness, people are hungry and without medical care and shelter and the education and other utilities of life have become an elusive desire from some exotic land. Is there any other option except gloom? Yes, rage is there. We should adopt rage.
