Rain of Testimonies

By Sameer Shaharyar • Jun 5th, 2008 • Category: Politics, Worth A Second Look • 10 Comments

Now we fully understand, as why didn’t Pervez Musharraf, the retired commando didn’t give a damn to the verdict of Pakistani people on 18th February. He is a fascist, and the biggest characteristic of a fascist is that he lies with full conviction and then gets spanking by the same aides afterwards who earlier wagged their tales for him day in and day out. Our tinpot commando is in that sorry state right now.

The blood of those who died in Kargil misadventure has started asking for the questions. The blood of those who were assassinated in the Jamia Hafsa and Lal Masjid has started showing its red color, which is reflecting on the outer walls of the President House. The blood of those who died in Damadola, Balochistan and on 12th May in Karachi is flowing out of the graves, and about to reach to the throat of the killers.

The vicious chain which Musharraf manufactured all these years has started to break loose. The first drop of rain was Major General (r) Ehtasham Zameer, who told the dirty story of how PML-Q was formed and how the agencies were used to cajole, threaten, and lured the lotas to the King’s Party of Musharraf. Then came the Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain who told publicly that he had completed the talks with the administration of Lal Masjid and the peaceful solution was finalized, when Shaukat Aziz told him to shut up as he was going to eat ice cream with his dear darling wife.

Then former Speaker of National Assembly Chaudhary Ameer Hussain told in a gathering in the Bari Imam that the root of the evil is Musharraf who forced them to act against the will of the people. Wasi Zafar, the former law minister, now regrets his cowardice and timidity in the issue of deposition of chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhary. The former chairman of Steels Mills, Lt. Gen Abdul Qayyum also reveals many nasty secrets of the illicit and corruption-rich selling of steels mills by Shaukat Aziz on behalf of the Musharraf.

Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan has also lifted the curtain and has told the the world that he was forced to make false statements regarding nuclear proliferation, and he was innocent. Gen. Jamshaid Gulzar Kayani has told that Kargil was the misadventure of Pervez Musharraf and he never took Nawaz Sharif in confidence. He also told that truth about the drama of plane hijacking of Pervez Musharraf.

Musharraf and his toadies and those who are stubbornly indurate would not hear to the drum beat of justice which is galloping towards them.

  1. Very nicely and passionately written.

    best wishes.

  2. It is almost time that there should be a new Category created here and name it, perhaps, “Hate Mail” or may be”Musharraf Bashers” and you guys won’t need to bother with writing anymore. They could just put your names there and we would immediately get the “message” you intend giving. This way all these repetitions can be saved and you all can rest in peace. How about that?

  3. Instead of creating a new category for many writers, it would be great if TPS creates a special page for Aftab to post pro Mush comments.

  4. This is what happen ,after AIDs,deficient immune system, your own commensals becomes active and against.

when lion king is injured ,he is no more a king ,

  5. Should I be given mercy if I have been with general Musharraf for so many years and enjoying all sorts of perks and emoluments and reign and thereafter one day when, it’s evident that the king will be a Kong, I start creeping against him saying its all Musharraf that did this to the people and we ere insane .I think none of the individual who was and were involved in enjoying the dines and lavish cuisine of the presidency and fabulous companies and interviews of beauties with the beast , should get escape.

  6. Do their testimony valid ? All those who are now accepting wrong doings were once head of their departments.God and country have given them best opportunity to serve the nation that is always a dream place for a nationalist to pay back his country through honesty and fairness and in return they get the best financial response from state for their services. But now their confession must be placed as treason charge as all high positions are bound to oath to be honest with the job.In my view
Ch Iftikhar’s one action against army mafia has transformed these eunuch into real men.If they are in seriuos guilt then they should donate all or atleast some percentage of their loot that they recieved from national exchequer as the retirement or in service benefits to lawyers ‘ movement that has no doubt made cracks in army and US mafia group..

  7. What a bunch of coward vultures who have gathered on the fallen! If they had courage, they would have accepted THEIR faults, not blamed it on another. So now it’s one man’s fault - who was, somehow, omnipotent enough to manipulate these gentlemen of honor. Right!

What, pray, were these courageous souls doing when all this was going on?
Why do they not have the courage to take the stones on their back now they are being cast?

As for A Q Khan, may Allah bless him with common sense. It isn’t easy to be nuclear scientist in a country like Pakistan. Is the whole nation unconscious about what’s going on in the world? Did 9/11 never happen? Did the global persecution of Muslims never happen? Did Pak Army or Musharraf do it? Aren’t we aware there are murderous nutters all over the world, and in the Islamic world, who would kill humanity in the name of their lunatic self-created image of an enfant terrible god.

AQ Khan and anything Pakistan has been under severe threat - at the time of his imprisonment, he was at best & worst like the child of a poor man who has been singled out to be beaten up by a rich bully. What would the poor parent do to protect their child? Give them a slap and keep them hidden at home - just to appease the bully who would have done worse.

Perhaps as a nation we deserve all the disasters that happen to us, until we learn to WAKE UP and take responsibility.

I have no respect for those who are cleansing their souls by blaming others. That’s utterly characterless.

  8. Hey Rubab, you are funny!

Seriously, do you really think I am so partisan? I suspect that you haven’t read me all the time. Mostly, I have tried to comment as objectively as my conscience would permit. Yes, at times I did take it upon myself to say a word or two in his favour, especially, when some writers in their anger have gone as far as calling him a.., lets try again, you know bad, bad things! And then the same people would be all praise for those other group of gangsters who in the name of democracy have played havoc with Pakistan and Pakistani people. No, matter how hard I try I just fail to find this lot any better then the one just ousted. I ask do we 165 million have only such quality of characters to be our leaders, doesn’t it reflect poorly, very poorly on us the nation, our level of intelligence and gullibility that we let the same gang play the ‘musical chair’ for the leadership role and we just clap and cheer them on. I wish we had the the ability to see right from wrong and according making a choice; I wish that we had the wisdom to reject this whole rotten lot and let “fresh blood” be infused in our body politics and rejuvinate our national life. I don’t know, do think I am that wrong or that I dream too much - it is depessing.

Imagine, if all of us were saying exactly the same thing (Musharraf bashing, kicking, lashing, mutilating, destroying etc. etc. etc. of the same), then where are the real issues. We are all turned into angels or opposite of that and can live together happily henceforth. We are people and have our diverse views on life depending how and who cared for us. Whether we were raised or just grew up. If raising voice against injustice, all and in every manifestation of injustice, then I am guilty as charged.

    Great day!

  9. The most stupid man on this earth is a person, who says about people’s verdict came against President Musharraf on 18 Feb.
This is the worst kind of manipulation of facts and figures.

Look again YOU STUPIDS , the facts and figures and think and think and commit yourself this kind of things will not be repeated again

The real victor on ”one man one vote..”

Total number of vote casted.. 27.146 million

    40% PML Q and allies 10.844 million
    37% PPP 10.554 million
    23% PML N 6.214 million

The real victor - the tragedy of “First Past the Pole”

Mush and allies have got the highest number of votes, but no one is highlighting that. It is ‘”First Past the Pole” that has shown these skewed results in the number of seats. Parliamentary democracy role of first past the pole throws out strange seat allocations.

If seats were divided on a one-man-one-vote basis, we would have seen Mush allies emerging as the largest single party. To say Pakistanis have rejected Mush is therefore a bit steep.

    Pakistan results 2008:

Total number of votes cast: 27.146 million

    40% PML Q and allies 10.844 million
    37% PPP 10.554 million
    23% PML N 6.214 million

By the way, keep in mind what the PML-N is. It was groomed as IJI by ex-ISI Hameed Gul. Nawaz was groomed by General Imtiaz and General Zia-ul-Haq. So, he doesn’t have “PATENT RIGHTS” to everyone who ever joined his party.

PML-Q with its allies has secured 40% votes, higher than PPP and PML-N. It shows people have accepted PML-Q as a separate party! There are many Muslim Leagues who agree with PML ideology but DIFFER with Nawaz Sharif personal agenda.

Nawaz has emerged as only PUNJAB PARTY. Punjab 102 seats, Sind 00, Baluchistan 00, NWFP 5.

“PML-Q has emerged as NATIONAL PARTY with: Punjab 66 seats, Sindh 10 seats, Baluchistan 17 seats, NWFP 6 seats.”

If BB was not killed, anyone could imagined what would be ultimate result.

“STUPIDS,” IF YOU INTENTIONALLY DENIES THE FACTS, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO EXPRESS YOURSELF ON ANY FORUMS. THIS IS AGAINST THE ETHICAL CODE OF HPURNALISM
