Questions to Ask Before South Waziristan Battle
By Altaf Khan • Jun 23rd, 2009 • Category: Politics • 6 Comments- Has US and NATO be told in tough language that no Afghan or Indian interference will be tolerated from across the border?
- Has the border of Waziristan with the Afghanistan been sealed or at least largely brought into surveillance?
- Does the Pakistan miliary have the capacity to sustain so many offensives simultaneously in such a vast area?
- Is the army prepared, in terms of equipment, training and tactics, for the kind of guerrilla warfare that it is likely to come up with?
- How the local population will be differentiated with the terrorists, especially how the Mehsud tribe will be segregated from the Mehsud militants?
- What is the plan for the inevitable IDPs from the Waziristan area?
- Has it learnt the right lessons from the failure of the last three operations – in 2004, 2005, and 2008 – which ended up consolidating the Taliban hold over the area?
- Have all the avenues of reaching a political settlement under the traditional tribal customs and traditions been exhausted?
- A deep scepticism about the government’s strategy will remain because these questions have not been satisfactorily answered.

To whom you want to ask? Government or Army.
Exactly, scepticism is the word which describes it.
These all are valid questions but who will dare to ask to our foreign trip president, well suited PM and blind COAS.They all have finally decided to ruin all ISI breed, no matter what is the cost, what are its disadvantages, what are its negative aspects. So as we civilian say fauji damgh is in action if they say it should be done at all cost ,our all weak political/civilians characters hired on PM, President and ministerial seats should follow the order.

our nation is very unlucky who couldnt find answers of hammod rehman commsion report, no clues of back fire of kargil war and now your all valid questions are worthless in this strong military culture.
Fauji damgh is in action … what a word.. but right one ..
We were use to use same word for teasing our NCC instructors in college. They were used to get angry and increase training torture… but all college classes (girls & boys) were united to tease them as much as we can.
Woh bhee kia din thay….! Now we see only sadness and worries on the faces of college students. Really life of Pakistani has been ruined in the hand of dictators, military and their followers.

I use this term in my routine life as I have to handle many faujis in my daily work.Today I badly snubbed a fauji damgah in MH who sent a bill of male patient of tuberculosis to gynecology section .
After seeing the pathetic conditions of MH I was thinking that who will teach them modern ways of hospital management as their paper work is still like that when my father was in service.
