Put on the life Coat
By Ayaz Rajput • Apr 9th, 2012 • Category: Politics • One ResponseBeneath your every desire, it’s you sitting there unwilling to do something. Look ahead when you set a goal; look back when you need a break. Trust people around you, It causes you no harm, except when your trust is broken by someone, but don’t worry; it only adds one more name to the list of the people you no longer need to deal with. Be brave enough to take risks; be coward enough to back out when you smell the damage. Walk every day, even if it’s one step, on the long road that leads you towards your goal. Others might walk on it to follow you, but remember it’s you who has to make your own road.
Don’t motivate yourself alone; ask your mind and soul to join you. Make amendments to your schedule, provide yourself some elasticity, you don’t need to call a friend at sharp 7:34pm. Make allowances; let your loved ones infiltrate your life. Be as stupid as you can with your friends. There should be someone to slap you in the face and call you a moron – believe in it for a moment, even if you are not.
Dress properly and elegantly but don’t feel charmed too much- all the girls are not looking at you. If they are, you are in an inferior crowd. Lower your nose and raise your eyes. There is no need to stare at every person you find on the way. If you consider it important, the ones following you are more significant than the ones who have passed by.
Do not take one big step at a time. Many small steps at one time won’t make you fall. You are not affected by your bad decisions alone. You have a fleet of soldiers behind you who, because of you, suffer the same consequences. Do not enforce your opinion on others. Even if you are a ruthless tyrant, let people have their say and choose things for themselves. It will only give you peace.
Do not burden your mind with the things you have nothing to do with. You have no business with the melting of ice and how polar bears are affected by it or the increasing divorce rate in Fiji. Your mind can merely tolerate your dumb mistakes you make every day and the daydreams of every girl you fall in love with. Take it easy and put a positive sign on your mind. A bunch of good thoughts a day keep the doctor away.
Pray! And ask for forgiveness from Allah. Be polite. Talk nicely and do not interrupt others while they talk. Be nice to children for they have far more happier minds and lesser sins than you have. Show patience with the old ones, offer them a kind hand. You have to replace them one day. Do not curse the ecosystem for your troubles. You are in a state where you have to be, you chose to be, you were wanted to be or you were chosen to be, so only try for a better life by getting rid of your troubles - yourself.

A stupendous post. Well done. Very thought-provoking
It reminds me a tiny bit of the lyrics to Baz Luhrmann’s ‘Everybody’s Free (to Wear Sun-screen)’ which used to be played everywhere about a decade ago.
