PTCL Smart TV

Reversing the programs, parental control, clear and speedy signals, and no-installation features make the smart TV services very much the option to consider for.
But given the track record of PTCL, people would think thousands times before they let go off their existing cable operators and start shifting on the PTCL Smart TV. Phone n Net, PTCL Wireless, PTCL DSL are enough to shaken the confidence of the stones, and people are still licking their wounds of these hellish and diabolical services, which are utter failure.
Secondly given the wretched support and the rude staff of PTCL, people would also be very tentative to acquire this new service by PTCL. It’s good of PTCL to go for the latest services but the thing is that they must improve their quality of service and focus more and more on the customer experience.

The package itself is not bad, but the problem is PTCL landlines are very unreliable, lets suppose u got the whole package and ur phone line breakup means everything is gone. and you get back to stone age with no cable tv, no internet and no telephone.
if ptcl not add more sports channel like super sports, star cricket and more entertainment channels their project will be fail kindly send them my massege to add more sports channel thanks
I totally agree with Syed; as people think thousand times to make deal with PTCL. I’d bitter experience while using DSL service from PTCL. Let say if PTCL is offering superb service then I think price should fall from 1000~1200 rupees per month (TV+broadband).
I ask one question How get the PTCL Smart TV Connection and what is processes payment of per month and advance with ptcl phone connection. I connect before land line ptcl but don’t know how is subcribe ptcl smart tv connection and ptcl phone -n- net subribes. I call at 1236 always listen anwer “Please wait or other answer and after liten the bussy tone.

پی ٹی سی ایل میں سمارٹ ٹی وی کا ایک اچھا اضافہ ہے مگر میر ے خِال سے یہ کامیاب نہیں ہوسکے گا وہ اس لئے کہ فون لائن جب خراب ہوجائے تو ٹھیک کروانے کے لئے ہفتوں انتظار کرنا پٹرتا ہےاور اس کے ریٹ اتنے ہائی ہیں ایک عام آدمی کے بس کی بات نہیں ہے پی ٹی سی ایل کو لائن رینٹ میں سمارٹ ٹی وی کو فری دینا ہوگا اگر ایسا کیا تو پی ٹی سی ایل کے کنکشن میں بھی افافہ ہوگا
dear pakistanis do not get dsl or ptcl smart tv packeges otherwise you will break your heads
I am among those who believe that one cannot really trust PTCL and they are loosing huge revenue because of their inefficient management. My application # 20902080440273 dated 08.02.2009 for Smart TV has been withdrawn by Azizabad Telephone Exchange themselves exactly after 10 days when they were supposed to install Smart TV at my residence. I was really anguished when I came to know about this development only when I called 1236 to inquire about the status of my application but nobody from exchange bothered to inform me. Technical Issue has been a common term of PTCL and I am hearing this word since the day I am using PTCL Broadband. It looks that they have failed to handle a large numbers of applications and refusing them on technical grounds just to gain some time. I must add here that nobody told me about any expected technical issue at the time of booking nor they have mentioned any such thing on their website. I was finally told by PTCL helpline to visit concerned DSL Officer ( King of the Exchange Area). People having enough time to visit Telephone Exchange for each and every complaint of PTCL can avail their services.

I have installed ptcl broadband internet and is very happy with it .It gives me a speed of 400-500 kbps on 1 mb connection and when my phone got dead I phoned to 1218 at evening and the line man came tomorrow and fixed the line . Now the thing which I am having bad experience with is PTCL smart Tv .I ordered Ptcl Broadband dsl and ptcl smart tv on 23rd March 2009 and the technian installed the broadband dsl on 25 th march 2009 and told me that the smart tv will be setup after we will check your line (Which is in good condition ) then he told me that ptcl smart will installed within 2 days . But now it 02 April 2009 and there is no contact between the technian and the ptcl complaint number 1218 .

I Have 1 mb PTCL Broadband SERVICE ,I Have no any problem in this service ,its best service in Pakistan .
helpline 1218 was give response when i complaint them,but i wait 3 min.to access with operator ,so does’nt matter its Pakistan we deserve it ,bc
pakistani never make line when they stand in any service counter .like BANK ,BUS STAND or other else……

janab problem yeh hai kai mera pehla 1 mb dsl chal raha tha ma na us ko 2 mb ma convert karwaya tha lakin mujhay 2mb nahi mila aur dsl ka server ma 2mb show ho raha hai kindly meri problem solve ki jai
