While I was presenting program on news TV Channel-5 on same topic, I got two experts, both westerners, on line, for their comments. One was Sir Richard Dalton, (who recently wrote on the same topic in TIME and Daily Telegraph, London) who is former British ambassador in Iran and Libya and Professor John Harrison of S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Singapore. I was impressed by the balanced views expressed by Sir Dalton. Unfortunately there are many hawks in the US and Europe, like John Bolton, ex-US ambassador to UN, who plead Iran should be attacked.

I wonder what went wrong to Johann. I remember he used to write sensible notes. If any Pakistani works in field of International affairs, may I ask whats wrong in it?

Stronger civilizations leave their mark in the world. Pakistan and its language are far from that stage where the rest of the world may feel need to learn Urdu. However I can predict that in coming years, Chinese language will get much more significance and relevance.

i think israel can only threaten iran….thoes guys over there only know one thing…..to kill unarmed palestenians….cant do that with iran because iran will retaliate !

Clearly you do not want Western input on this subject. Urdu is an unknown language in America. There can be no dialog without understanding.
