Progress Bench-marking

By The Pakistani Spectator • Sep 3rd, 2007 • Category: Uncategorized • 2 Comments

Everytime i wonder when we claim for financial progress, setting of goals like vision 2030. It becomes humourous to me.

It was a time when our currency value was higher than Indian Rupee, then it became equal and now value of Indian Rupee is greater than the Pakistani Rupee.

Suzuki Alto starts from 3.29 Lac in India and in Pakistan it starts from 4.19 Lac.

Other fields of economy are laking behind also. Have the government performed any Bench-marking to evaluate progress or just the 15 Billion dollar reserves are more than enough for a country having 160 million population with out any significant trade.
