He is the brother of Nawaz Sharif, former Prime Minister of Pakistan. He served as the Chief Minister of Punjab, the most populous province of Pakistan and as a Member of Pakistan’s National Assembly. He has become the chief minister of Punjab once again on 8th June, 2008.
Mian Shahbaz Sharif’s first marriage with his cousin Begum Nusrat Shahbaz in 1973 with the approval of his father, the late Mian Muhammad Sharif. They have two sons, Hamza and Salman and three daughters. Shahbaz Sharif’s second marriage was with Aaliya Honey in 1993-94. At that time he was living in London. They have one daughter, Khadija. According to some sources, many issues and legal requirements were not met in their divorce.[citation needed] Shahbaz Sharif’s third marriage is with Tehmina Durrani. This is the third marriage for both of them.
He was considered a very strict administrator and good chief minister of Punjab but he also received criticism that he was a powerful chief minister of Punjab because his brother was Prime Minister of Pakistan. He was ousted in the 1999 Military Coup, which brought Pervez Musharraf to power. He had been a famous chief minster all over the Punjab.
he lived in exile in London with his brother, the exiled former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after coming from Saudi Arabia. Since then there have been speculations about their return to Pakistan. He once tried coming back to Pakistan following a High Court decision that he was free to come back whenever he wanted. On May 11, 2004 his plane landed at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore but he was arrested and again deported to Saudi Arabia within a few hours.
Mian Shahbaz Sharif was elected President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) on 3 August 2002 while on exile in Saudi Arabia. He was re-elected President of PML(N) for the second term on 2nd August 2006.
He was once thought of as a strong future candidate for Prime Minister of Pakistan.
In August 2007, Supreme Court of Pakistan gave its verdict which allowed Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif to return back to Pakistan.
On September 7, 2007, judge Shabbir Hussain Chatha ordered police to arrest Shahbaz Sharif, brother of Nawaz Sharif and produce him before the court, after the hearing in Lahore. The court ruled that “Shahbaz Sharif should be arrested (at) whichever airport he lands at.” Nawaz Sharif too faces detention on the pair’s planned return from exile to Pakistan on September 10, 2007, to challenge President Pervez Musharraf’s 8-year military rule.
On September 10, 2007, Nawaz Sharif, 57, landed at Jeddah airport arrived in the Red Sea , Jeddah, met by Saudi intelligence chief Prince Miqren bin Abdul Aziz. Pakistan’s Religious Affairs Minister Ijaz-ul Haq stated that “He has not only embarrassed Pakistan but also the leadership of Saudi Arabia by violating the agreement..” The European Union asked the Pakistani government to respect the court ruling, for Sharif should have the chance to defend himself in a Pakistani court. In Washington, Sean McCormack of the White House (joined by India) stated that the deportation was an “internal matter” but said that elections should be “free and fair” (but expressing mild disapproval of Pervez Musharraf’s action). But US organisation Human Rights Watch accused Pervez Musharraf of violating international law. Sharif’s Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz party condemned the deportation by filing a contempt suit in the Pakistan Supreme Court. His brother Shahbaz Sharif changed return plans at the last minute.
Sharif was not allowed to participate in the 2008 elections because of allegations against him. His son Hamza Sharif was supposed to run from a NA seat in Lahore but due to the death of a candidate , the elections were postponed.
Sharif lives in Raiwind in his family mansion and is currently married to famous author Tehmina Durrani.

It is stated that I am disabled married woman having 2 school going children. I have lost my right leg in my childhood I am using since then artificial leg. My husband is jobless from last many months. We don’t have any other source of income we are living on rent which 2500Rs per month and we are unable to pay its rent.And not able to pay our children school fees and so many other problems of utility bills and kichen.
Respected Brother my appeal to you to help me in job and provide us resident. I pray for your success in your work and for your good health in my five time prayers to Allah.

Thanks, what I leaned today Showbaz is still eligible for fourh marriage. I always thought he is sharif, but now I know he is MEESNA, and GUJJA. This is why he looks slimmer than his brother No was Sharif.

Dear Sir,
A community of laundrymen and people, we had migrated from India to live in Muslim homeland of Pakistan in 1947 and had settled in Saraay Ratan Chand, Chowk Shah Alam Gate in the Bansanwala Bazar, Lahore. The houses that we took up for living here were taken over by the Evacuee Trust Property Board whose office at 9-Court Street, Lahore received rent from us. These houses were in dilapidated condition and the Saraay Rattan Chand area itself was also unlivable due to lack of drainage facilities. In the last 59 years, we have repaired these houses with our meager incomes and also spent money on the improvement of the area itself.
We request the Government of Pakistan to Grant us the Right of Ownership of our houses as it has done to several kacchi-abadies of Lahore.

Dear Sir, the reason to send u this mail that you now, sports are almost finished in Pkaistan due to Terroriest attached on sri lankan cricket team, it was really miserable. I was the there at that time in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. this was the last international event in Pakistan, Now no International event accepted within five years in Pakistan . Sir Pakistan is a beautifull country, 05 world’s highest mountain peaks amoung 14 are in pakistan, Pakistan’s punjab have beautifull land scapes, River Sites and Hostroical places to attrack foreign tourist. Sir these should have to promote. Sir one thing is very Much needed at this time that is Sports. Sports Should Have the Part of Every Political Part’s Manefesto. Every MNA/MPA have at least one or two play grounds (World-Class) on its contitution. and Sir Regional Sports also be promoted for the healthy envirement in Villages of Punjab B-coz Sir it is only Punjab, who should contributed in Pakistan’s Sports activities in all games. I am a resident of Sargodha,new satellite town,w block.It has been 5 to 8 years since the roads have been repaired in this area of new satellite town.We are facing a lot of problems in transport due to the worst condition of roads and severage in this area.So i here request you to kindly visit new satellite town sargodha and make a survey of the conditions here.We are also facing any health problems due to this.Due to this factor and also we constantly have vehicles repairing problems and our vehicles have been damaged bcoz of roads.We would be very thankful to you,if you can do something.
