So many lives destroyed, It may be world Trade center, Afghanistan or Iraq but can we bring back the dead. Can we change anything, have anyone seen the poor Iraqi children crying on there mothers dead bodies. What did Iraq do, pay for its leaders crimes. Mr A Khokhar quoted a verse from Quran, we should go back and read it more carefully because today while America comitts atrocities everywhere there is a oil spell in its back yard. Taliban didnt do it, Pakistan didnt do it, Afghanistan didnt do it, Iraq didnt do it, Hezbollah didnt do it then who did it. A short term strategy may backfire but a a long term goal may give future prosperity. To become leader of the world one would need to bring economy stability in its empire, no empire can be made without its people and every empire fell because of its people.

Mc Crystal went out, if anybody did read his Bio he was a cowboy coming from a Texas Ranch just like Bush. He went out because his surge policy miserably failed and well it was Obama's policy as well crystal was made the scape goat. The piece in the magazine was published at the right time when it was time for Crystal to go and Paetreus to be demoted to take over day to day Afghanistan operation. Why America cannot find a qualified person to lead the war in Afghanistan, 3 general's left in 2 years. Taliban would be pleased with there performance and well Paetreus wont be a happy man. Karzai's, Zardari's, etc are all puppets who will not find a place to hide when its time. The oil is filling once beautiful beaches of florida, its not oil its blood of all those innocent men, women and children who lost there lives. Allah is supreme and we must read the book he has given us for guidance for that book gives us the right way.

Ammar and Friends,
What has gone wrong with we people; Above cooments show that---Sadly we are unable to differentiate between--- ‘The Taliban; Aka Afghani Taliban fighting a legitimate war against the occupation of foreign force and ----the fake Taliban found in Pakistan; since raised by CIA. This group is bringing havoc in our society through subversiosn, killing and suicidal bomb-blasts. This is sell out group of Pakistanis turned as traitors of this nation. It is working as mercenaries in disguise of 'the Taliaban' and is being very well funded, trained and run by CIA with following aim:
The salient are:
• To carry out specific acts in disguise, in order to defame the cause of Taliban fighting in Afghanistan?

• To keep the old sanctuaries in FATA live which were earlier used by Mujahedeen to show that Pakistan is under handily helping the Taliban since declared as enemy by United State.

• To carry out suicidal attacks on military, police and other security targets with the aim that Pakistan forces and its security is under mined.

• To spell the fear and terror in the masses and carry out all such acts which hampers the economies of this nation and Pakistan is seen as depleted.

Do you find above being demonstrated in our society on daily base?
and--- Do you agree with the above or not?

Please reply so that we may proceed further-> ->

The author seems to be an educated spokesperson for Taliban. So let’s get this straight the U.S is supporting the Taliban? The very same Taliban who have attacked its soldiers and at the same time the U.S is also supporting Pakistan to fight against the Taliban?
Now does it not sound a little too much to digest! Both Pakistan and United States are victims of terrorism and are committed to fight them. Such ridiculous propaganda is an insult to Human intelligence.

To say the least, This is a confused article. What is the difference in policy between Obama and McChrystal? McChrystal's insubordination is not about policy; he doesn't have a different policy to offer; there's no Yalu river to cross. If you know what Yalu river is, you have got the point.

The press conference I heard was the one where the Commander in Chief Obama said that this was a personell change not a policy change. He also said to make no mistake that we are at war...and other things that made it pretty clear that CIC was committed to winning in Pakastan and Afghanastan. He said too that he would never allow anyplace to be a haven for terrorists who plot to kill women and children in our country.

Sir, it's been, all along, a great pleasure to be private recepient of your articles - some of which have been appealing and others repelled common sense, but, nevertheless a constant source of provoking serious thinking and insight into diverse point of view - for which I am & have been grateful.

Well, come on they have just fired a general. But yes, we poor Pakistanis cannot imagine our President firing our general. Our President, the commander in chief (or thief in chief?) cannot even fire a Jawan :)
