PPP Using Saudi-Returned Family for Marketing
By Imran Ali • Oct 4th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 4 CommentsA family was wrongly caught by the Shurtaas in Saudi Arabia in the drug trafficking case and then as they were proved innocent after the hassle of four months and returned back to the country, many ministers, then prime minister and then the president didn’t miss a chance to meet and greet the family and it was a high media event and filled the news at the prime time.
The media gurus in the government must have spent lots of time in training the family as how to display their gratitude for the ministers and their bosses and how to act and then react and what to say to the media. The family landed in Islamabad, and met with the premier. They were scheduled to fly to their home city Karachi, but then they were kept in Islamabad for 24 hours, as some genius also came up with the idea that president should also meet the family. And so it was done with all the fanfare in the world.
MQM has also planned a welcome and then a customary Altaf bhai address (yes telephonic).
Who is left behind in this saga?

The family was NOT caught wrongly. They were causght as HOSTAGES by the Saudi police as the actual culprits have escaped to Pakistan. Saudies who is a brother country to you wanted to exchange the innnocents for real criminals. That is Saudi justice to you
It is not actually PPP but it is game of rehman and altaf dada to improve their dying repute in media and in Karachi area.This fake publicity is also an indicator that mqm is being prepared by our house of lords for next destructive plans on our soils.
At this moment almost 1200 Pakistanis are in saudi custody and being in the queue of beheading in coming months so why they were ignored by our authorities .Most of them belong to our northern side but our govt never even listened the plea of these people who had also become victim of such fraud that was faced by this family. so in this whole dramatic scene the 1200 people are left behind and 4 got their lucky draw of power politics game.
