Adi, Thanks for comments. I try not to miss your valuable writings.

Continuation of democracy is the solution. To cure problems amongst the politicians, the only remedy is 'more democracy' as it is self-cleansing process.

Adi, I am very happy to read this news. Text copied, pasted below. Are you?

ISLAMABAD, Jan 12: Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has sent a message of good wishes to President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani for the new year. “President Zardari will soon reciprocate the positive gesture of the Indian prime minister,” the president’s spokesman Farhatullah Babar told Dawn. “With all good wishes for the new year,” Prime Minister Singh said in his greetings to President Zardari. The card carries the picture of a white dove with flowers in its beak and has been signed by Prime Minister Singh and his wife Gursharan Kaur. “We consider the good wishes sent by the Indian premier a positive gesture to de-escalate tension between the two countries,” the spokesman said. He said a white dove on the card indicated that Dr Singh desired good relations between the two countries and peace in the region.

Naeem don't wonder. People who become politicians have just one thing in mind make money. At least in India they try to do some good for their people so that they can win again, same is not the case in Pakistan, I am guessing.

All you guys need to understand is that if you want change to come you will have to start it and not depend on others for it.

I wonder why the writer is so harsh with Ch. Nisar Ali Khan. Many political analysts consider Mian Nawaz Sharif lucky to have experienced and competent stalwarts like Kh. Asif, Ishaq Dar, Ch. Nisar, Javed Hashmi, Zafar Iqbal Jhagra, Saad Rafique etc. The stuff available with PPP is much lesser in quality. Analysts consider it misfortune of Asif Zardari that he does not have many options and the best people in his ranks are Dr. (With a purchased Ph.D degree in few hundred dollars) Baber Awan, Rahman Malik, Sherry Rehman, Farooq Naek, Latif Khosa etc.

The writer should have suggested names of some who he considers better option for Nawaz Sharif.

One particular announcement can be termed as wise or un-wise but on basis of that, it is just a sweeping statement to conclude that ..."Just due to the haste, lack of vision and follies by PML(N), the only serious opposition in the country, Pakistan is suffering from the Zardari & co.".....

Politics is not a science. I am sure PML (N) has many brains (better than me and the writer) who weigh issues before making anything public at a given time. They know how to play their cards.
