The author is also ignorant about the fact that the brother of Ch. Nisar Ali Khan (Lt. Gen (R) Chaudhry Iftikhar Ali Khan) was not in Quetta but he was the secretary defence at that time who lobbied for Pervez Musharraf to be appointed as the COAS. I happened to ask this from Ch. Iftikhar Ali Khan as to why did he recommended to PM Nawaz Sharif the name of Pervez Musharraf as COAS. He simply replaid that it was his mistake. However, it's very unfortunate that you still consider it important to support a person who lacks the most important leadership qualities which is to know what talent is what makes a good team. Now, if Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif can't even select a few associates, as you suggest, then how can they be entrsuted the responsibility to lead the nation? Someone, with as screwed up track record as Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif, can not be made to look smart no matter how hard you try.
