Past four years: PPP Govt. doled out Rs70 million on Supreme Court cases, Strange!!
By Sobia Raja • Jul 9th, 2012 • Category: Politics • 3 CommentsPPP Govt. and corruption now seems interlinked, and for corruption hiding they have to hire the lawyers to deal with, so it is revealed that PPP in last four years spent 70 million on hearing of several cases in Supreme Court. Strange!! Yes it is, Govt. main aim should serve the nation but here the case is quite opposite, our beloved Govt. spent 24 million on NRO related cases and constitutional acts commonly known as 18th amendment. Ministry of Law and justice paid a great amount of fee to the lawyers in order to prosecute the cases; in this regard Babar Awan is top of the list with one third of the total fee that they spent on the prosecution of cases, this information was given to NA by the ministry of law and justice.
By adding more to this information, Rs6.6 million for reviewing petition in NRO cases; Rs5.5 million as case fee in the prosecution of the National Insurance Company Limited case; Rs6.6 million for representing the federation in a case regarding a Karachi incident in the apex court and Rs3.3 million in a case of judicial allowance. 7.5 million Rupees were paid to lawyer Hafeez Pirzada in the case of Ambassador Tariq Aziz-ud Din, NAB and Hajj corruption chairman. So in the similar way million rupees were spent on these cases, Govt. which came to provide the food, shelter and clothes got busy in its own problems and forgot what its actual purpose was.
This huge amount that was spent on these cases can be used to solve the many problems of the poor people, through this amount unemployment can be reduced, shelter can be provided to many helpless poor people, so many constructive things can be done, but still question is who cares?? Our Govt. not at all..!!!

This amount is nothing as compared to the sum of the black money they have earned in last 4 years.
According to NAB, Pakistan is suffering upto 2 Billion of corruption each day. The only solution is to have honest rulers, respect of rule of law and its implementation and reverting back to hard-working attitude as a nation.
if ppp used 70 million just on cases then how much is it lotting us just think.
well i think mr imran khan is the only solution i see for pakistan issues
Hilarious why Chief Justice did not constitute a bench against his son’s bribe case, where he is taken over 300 million, he was informed 6 months back, but sitting on it, till media broke the news. There are over 27 corruption cases against Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif, including an attack on Supreme Court – when Nawaza was PM. Why not reopening those cases? There are 70,000 cases pending but no attention. First fix your own house, then look at others. Pakistan’s judicial system is one of the most corrupt in the world, where you do not buy the lawyers but judges……this is on record.
Several cases went unheard without any attentions, Arslan Case….. Nawaz Cases…. Balochistan Missing people Cases May 12th Case (many died b’coz of CJ arrival in Karachi)…. Asghar Khan Case.. Chief Justice is only busy in witch hunting of PPP…
