Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf strongly condemns incidents of terrorism in Balochistan: Shafqat Mahmood
By Sadia Agha • Jul 14th, 2012 • Category: Politics • One ResponseLahore 13 July :Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, President Javed Hashmi, Secretary General Dr Arif Alvi, Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Central Information Secretary Shafqat Mahmood have strongly condemned the bomb blast near an ANP rally which killed 4 innocent people in Quetta. PTI leadership also condemned brutal killing of 7coal miners after being abducted.They expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives both the incidents conveyed condolences to the bereaved families.
PTI Central Information Secretary Shafqat Mahmood stated that security situation of the province was a matter of grave national concern and it seems that the people of the province have been left at the mercy of terrorists. Criticizing the provincial government for its failure to contain terrorism in the province he said that law and order situation of the province has deteriorated to dangerous level but unfortunately the government has not taken any concrete steps to ensure security of the people. The provincial and federal governments are responsible for criminal negligence for not ensuring protection of people’s lives who have been subjected to barbaric violence. PTI warned the government that its lukewarm response on violence in Balochistan can lead to serious repercussions.
