Pakistan Swine Flu
By Sumaira Bajwa • Aug 13th, 2009 • Category: Misc • 5 CommentsA renewed killing spree of Swine Flu has taken over the world once again and this time, many Asian countries are becoming target with India on the lead. Swine Flu is rapidly spreading in the India and more than eighteen people have died so far with many showing the symptoms. Indians like the other countries have risen late, and the pandemic is already becoming threatening.
The WHO has raised the Influenza Pandemic Alert to the highest level which is 6. Already India has seen over 40 confirmed cases of Swine Flu and the threat of a full blown epidemic in Pakistan is very real. Swine Flu is transfering to the animals from the humans and as cattles are very common in both India and Pakistan, thingsa are very worrisome.
The best we citizens of Pakistan can do is keep ourselves informed about the happenings and the steps we can take to prevent the spread of the flu. With most of the affected people fitting the profile of a person with internet access, we believe the internet is the first place that people would come looking for information like symptoms, who to contact etc.
Pakistan Swine Flu is an attempt to bring all the necessary information in one place. Pakistan cannot afford to fall sick. Keep yourself and others informed.
