Online Admissions for Lahore College for Women ; IT Gateway

In a very commendable step, the Punjab government of Shahbaz Sharif has struck a deal with IT giant Microsoft to boost the IT and egovernment in the province. Many steps will be taken in this regard in many fields including governance, education, and health.

Toyota and Microsoft will work jointly with Punjab government to establish an IT gateway. Microsoft will provide free software to hundreds of IT acadamies throughout the province. Microsoft innovation center will be established in the software technology park, and the first step will be the facilitation of online admissions for the 1st year for girls in Lahore College for women.

With the help of this project, major improvements will be initiated. First investigation reports with the police will be lodged online.
