Dear All;
I am really grateful for your comments and your interest in the article. It is actually a part of a book that I am working on. As for showing respect to the name of the prophet, I agree with Aftab, for it is important for us to remember everyone’s sensitivities. For me, as you might have noticed, I use the term “PBUH’ on the first mention of the Prophet’s name, but do not use it later as a stylistic device, which allows me to show–without saying it–that it was the act of being chosen as a messenger that transformed a human into a prophet.
Needless to say, I hold all that respect for the Prophet in my heart. I would appreciate if we all were tolerant of each other in our conversation with each other.

Dr raja has highlighted true picture of present Islam by comparing it with actual spirit of Islam that was initiated by Holy Prophet but he mixed too many things under one topic.If he started Islamic history from the birth of Islam and take it to un Islamic,unfair and tyrannical rule of Saudi rulers that contributed a lot in designing/implementation of war on terror on Muslim populated area then it would be easy for non Muslims to come to conclusions that why muslims are labeled like that he mentioned in this topic.His sentiments as a hurt Muslims is really worthy and truly depict the pains of ordinary Muslims.
