Olpers is a brand that has made its place since 2005. I still remember that sound of milk being poured in a pot to make “doodh pati”. I am not a tea person at all but still that ad had created a buzz on me that I can recall. The reason for writing this post and sharing almost 5 year old memories is the ad that I just saw, once again, on the facebook page of Olpers . Why fb page? Why not on tv that might be the question of the moment. So the simple answer is that I do not trust the length of the ad that been played on the TV.

Olpers is one of the few brands that successfully relates itself to Ramadan in its ad rather than another brand of same product, which is trying to claim the title of thickest of them all for last 15 years almost. Every Ramadan I wait for the advertisement of Olpers. The reason for this anticipation is the flavor of family values and Ramadan that enriched the charm of the advertisement. Whether it is the ad of 2006 or 2008 featuring the use of Olpers in the sehari and iftaar along with the happenings at different places of Pakistan during the mentioned tidings, or it is the ad of 2007 featuring “bhar do jholIi meri ya ilahi” a very famous kalam.
Nevertheless, the ad that actually took the campaign to some other level was the one featuring two famous singers who are out there spreading the message of peace and creating a motivation of fulfilling the duty of being “Mustafavi”. This year Olpers came up with another ad, repeating the same charisma with the added value in the form of poetry of Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal.

I believe that now Olpers have moved one step forward I mean Olpers have been featuring family values, but in recent two campaigns, they have added attribute in the form of “concept of unity among the Muslims” and the philosophy of “spreading peace”. I am deeply in love with this “Har Lehza Hay Momin” video just because f beautiful poetic piece of Allama Iqbal, and this poetry has been visualized very well. I am thankful to Olpers as they gave us all an opportunity to understand this beautiful and thought provoking piece of Allama Iqbal.
