Obama : The World’s President

By Ali Yar Khan • Nov 27th, 2008 • Category: Politics • No Responses

When Barack Obama became the 44th president of United States, there was a sense of ecstasy, joy and relief in virtually every country of the world, except in Pakistan, Iraq and Afghanistan. Though the people of United States voted for change, the people who really need “change” from United States remained apprehensive and scared.

Barack Obama must not disappoint the world. He may be elected by the American people, but accept it or not, his election affects the whole world and he is in a sense the president of the world. He must look beyond the America, and while not damaging the interest of America, he must also take care of the world.

George. W Bush and his unruly gang are about to become a part of history, but their legacy is what must be wiped out and the it’s up to the new president to make for the damage done by the bloody Republican legacy for the world. Obama originates from the crossroads of disparate civilization and now the nature has selected him to shun the clash of civilizations and foster peace and harmony.
