Obama Quotes From Quran, A Fine Gesture
By Ali Yar Khan • Jun 4th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 4 CommentsPresident Barack Hussain Obama is doing a fine job right now of visiting different Muslim countries and his speeches are being applauded throughout the Muslim world, but with justified apprehension and disbelief, as only action will prove and time will tell as how much serious and sincere and independent Obama is in what he says.
9/11 was not only a tragedy for the Americans, but also for the Muslims. America suffered on that day and the trauma followed, but many Muslims are dying throughout the world just because 9/11 happened. 99.9% of these Muslims condemned the attacks on the twin towers and never knew what the hell Al Qaeda was. From Iraq to Afghanistan to Pakistan to Middle East, Muslims are being killed either by America or it’s allies, just because Al Qaeda killed 3000 Americans back in 2001.
Obama needs to rise above the words. He must bridge the gap between the Islam and the West. He must show that he doesn’t believe on the clash of civilization and America is not the enemy of Islam and Muslims. Obama must work hard to win the minds and hearts of the Muslims. Muslims understand very well that the Al Qaeda is the enemy of everyone, but they also believe that right now America is also enemy as it is killing Muslims throughout the world.

Ali,
Where the hell did religion come in between here? What is the link of West connecting with Islam? The connection and understanding should be among people and not religions.
Also the thing that you are saying is only going to happen when you stop the extremists in your society from gaining control and you people stop giving priority to them.
Religion is once belief and should a personal affair and not a public discussion topic or something else.
The people who are doing all the acts are using religion as the backdrop and you people allow it.
Arias,
Dude, why to control mate?
Whatever Ali is trying to say implies what Johann has said.
