Better late than never, we have been hearing the news of privatization of steel mills for years, but we all were against this privatization. Now unexpectedly Raja Pervez Ashraf canceled this plan of privatization of steel mills and announced 15 bln bailout packages, from which 2 bln cash are on urgent basis for ailing the enterprise.

Raja Pervez Ashraf made this announcement while his visit to Pakistan steel mills. He further added that steel mill is the backbone of the country so sincere efforts will be made for the improvement of this institution which was laid by the Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He also promised to provide the resources to the steel mill and interestingly got surprised over the losses of steel mill. Now it’s time to see whether it’s real promise or again the fake ones like the electricity were.

Pakistan steel mills have to achieve its goals and other so many things like that, but still it’s time to see whether these promises will be fulfilled or would be just sand houses like the previous so many promises. If he sincerely wants to improve the condition of Pakistan steel mill then it’s great otherwise it will again through the people into darkness. If he enlightened a hope in the hearts of employees of Pakistan steel mills by offering packages to them then he must fulfill his promises. Pakistan steel mills once grow will definitely be helpful for the economy of Pakistan.

It would provide a thrust for improving the economy. But still if it again neglected would be a big loss for Pakistan seriously. We are already so down so we should never ignore even a single opportunity that can leads us towards something better. So let’s hope for the best, the only thing that we can do now a days.
