Naseebo Lal Songs Lyrics : Justice Takes Notice
By Gul Raiz • Jul 2nd, 2009 • Category: Entertainment • 3 CommentsJustice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry of the Lahore High Court on Tuesday ordered the SSP Investigation to find out those who wrote, made and released CDs of vulgar songs sung by Naseebo Lal and state which section of the PPC should be applied to prosecute them.
The SSP Investigation was directed to file his report on July 20. Earlier, Naseebo Lal, appearing before the court, said she was forced to sing vulgar songs. The judge was hearing a petition against Naseebo Lal and Nooran Lal for singing vulgar songs.
Petitioner Asif Mehmood Khan, a local lawyer, submitted that the departments concerned in connivance with some other elements were violating the law and the Constitution by spoiling the integrity, sanctity and morality of the society. He said Naseebo Lal and Nooran Lal along with other respondents were busy in making and singing indecent and immoral songs. He said the shelter given by the government to the singers under the Motion Picture Ordinance 1979 was of illegal and heinous nature against the integrity and sanctity of the society. The petitioner prayed to the court to impose a complete ban on all the audio/video songs of the two respondents.
