NA-21 Mansehra; PML-N, PPP Lost; JUI-F Won, PML-Q Runnerup

They are disappointing for me not because I am favoring any party but because of the fact that those who have been exposed too many times before nation, those who supported dictators, those who are proven hypocrites and those who have no moral authority to even claim leadership have won.
Does Fazlur Rehman deserves to be won or to represent the people of this country? What is Q league? A bund of lotas created by the dictator Musharraf?
At lease PML-N and PPP are mainstream parties and they have been through a lot. It’s true that both carry lots of dirty baggage and their past is tainted with mud and filth, but they are better than the turncoats, hypocrites and opportunites.
Why then the people of NA-21 voted in majority for JUI-F and PML-Q? Is there any hope for this nation to learn some ethics and morals before they vote or are they supporting ethic-less people and welcoming dictatorship? If yes, then we should say goodbye to this democratic mantra forever.

What is more disappointing is the performance of Imran Khan who was the only party leader who went there to campaign. Despite his 22% popularity rise as reflected by the polls he once again failed to convert his popular image into a ballot secured seat. Imran must understand that the people, he so desperately wants to help, are the ones that voted for Fazalur Rehman and those who can factually vote him to power are the ones that he has alienated.
Some might argue that he has the charisma but lacks a party structure, but again a decade is a decent enough time to erect that up to some minimum levels of success. His current predicament is reflective of his stubborn mind and a false hope of a “wind blowing Bhutto” repeat. His own deliverance of a harangue about learning from ones mistakes and history are all in vain if he himself does not learn his own very lessons.
He thinks he has all the sweet time of the world at his disposal to turn the politics in his favor.The path that he is on at the moment is the same downhill one that was chosen by his “predecessor” Asghar Khan and unless he revisits his principled ego, he is doomed to become a sorry excuse for a politician as also said by another famous blogger.

People damn care who was dictator or who is champion of democracy.
Ordinary people only knows who was good for them and their common problems were being solved under which govt.+ sincere with Pakistan
Come out from utopia and realised the ground realities!

Either your living in a dream or your really related to both PML-N or PPP. Have you ever given it a thought that the people who supported Dictatorship did so because the leadership of there prespective parties flew away to Jeddah. They chose life of luxury over standing there ground and defending the people of this country. Have you seen the leadership of PML-Q or JUI-F living in Jeddah, Dubai or London? They are here and they are among the people to listen and solve there problems. PML-N and PPP are now governing but seems more like they are still crying foul like they are in the opposition. Get over the dictatorship and start living in the democracy you so much loved and voted for. If we progress under any circumstances thats good but sadly the worst democracy is not better then a dictatorship. Countries like China have become super powers because of dictators. The present democratic government is there to please America as they would do anything to please them. When everyone in United States was against the Iraq war why did they still go to War and where was democracy at that time. Democracy is just a myth we are told to hang out and destroyed by.
When we or our beloved party or candidates win, it is people’s power,a true democracy.
When any body else wins, it is non-ethical and immoral and we should say goodbye to democratic mantra.
What a hypocricy?
People damn care about big parties and big names. They want elected representatives to solve their problems. People are now comparing the decades of 90’s with the last decade of Pervez Musharraf and with what is the situation of our country now.
Media has exposed these corrupt politicians and every day we see and hear scandals of these bigwigs.
Democracy is no magic wand and dictatorship is not a curse. It is the attitude and the performance of the people who govern, that make the difference.
The people have rejected religious parties time and again whenever free elections are held.This particular seat has always been a stronghold of JUI and therefore the results should surprise no one.The people in this region are backward and conservative so much so that that women are not allowed to cast their votes.However things can change for the better if the present democratic dispensation is allowed to continue.
i am 101% agrees with this that no religious party can win the election in NA 21.but these result of liaq m Khan are totaly based on fake vote of 8000 which JUI polled. Mr Azam Khan & Other JUI members threaten the people,
as the PMLN is concerned they loose their election just they do the nepotism by giving the ticket to Safdar brother because the PMLN workers in NA21 are very much disappointed with the decisions of party management. i request you as a worker of PMLN please do politics of principal because Mr Safdar has no vote bank in mansehra. NA 20, NA 21.
Two big political parties have Failed miserably to come up to peoples expectations. Its time to bring grass root democracy to the Country. New leadership MUST come out from new generation of Leadership.
NA 21 Mansehra was vacated due to the death of PML-N’s candidate, election was held in the constituency today…and PMLN came third this time, after JUI-F and PML-Q! The candidate from PML-N was the real brother of Captain Safdar (Nawaz Sharif’s son in law), what does this loss mean for PML-N?
As the parties current policies seem to be revolving around the next elections, the country is going through tough times and there is no role of PML-N anywhere…although many crisis’s have surrounded the country including taleban problem, balochistan issue, sugar crisis, gas crisis, electricity crisis and water crisis…we dont hear any road map from PML-N as to how these issues will be resolved if they are given power!
Being an ardent supporter of PML-N, even I am confused about the party’s course of action…the way things are progressing, I dont consider the party winning as much seats in the next elections as they won in the previous one, leaving aside them winning the polls.At the end I would like to show the real face of all parties they all are selfish ,greedy,corrupted and many more,Why PML N brought the brother of Capt.Safdar for this seat ?Is there no qualified person which is able to take the ticket of party? Is there no faithful candidate in this area accept Capt safdar’s Brother? according to my opinion if party gave tickect to a local person even a poor man I am sure people give response.

hy u all. in da constituency of NA21,its not 100% party what matters.the main thing is your personality… what the hell personality Haji tahir ali (PML_N) candidate has..?? you all dont know but tahir ali has even lost union council election so how could he win national assembly election. n the main thing is that Laiq Muhammad Khan(MNA NA21) is the real cousin of Faiz M Khan n they used to live in one house in their home town. despite all Capt Safdar gave ticket to his brother.. if PML_N was given to Laiq M Khan he vd have secured more den 1lac votes.but just because of silly Capt Safdar PML_N lost this seat for ever n ever
