Music can not be considered haraam, as then it would be a -sin- to listen to it. It can not be considered a “sin” because it is not directly or indirectly mentioned in the Quran. All Islamic regulations, in order to be considered valid, have to be related to a verse in the Quran, directly or indirectly. The hadith can only be used as a secondary supplement to explain something that is mentioned in the Quran (e.g. the method of prayer).

Also, the human body is only made of carbon, (as the Quran states we were made from mud) not “fire, water and air”. Such concepts have infiltrated into Islamic thinking from ancient Greek methaphysics and contacts with other religions. Air and Water are essential to functioning, but they are not “part” of our bodies, neither is fire.

Yes brother Munir you said right. Quran and its teachings are the real food for the soul. Those who want to malign Islam call music as food. Music is prohibited in islam. Yes, there are some advantages of music also but its disadvantages are more.

our body is made of AAG PANI MITTI AUR HAWA therfore its food is from earth the SOUL is from heaven and its food comes from heaven and that is QURAN

so how can the music be food of soul
