Musharraf’s New Party

(r) Junaid Zaman • May 8th, 2008 • Category: Politics • 3 CommentsAmericans have told Pervez Musharraf that if Chaudhary Shujaat is not leaving PML-Q, then there is no problem as Musharraf could always leave it’s patronage and formulate a new party comprising of almost all the members of PML-Q, defectors from other parties and the independents with the back door support of MMA.
Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has also met with officials of masters in Washington and have told them that he could play a very pivotal and active role in forming the new party. Sheikh Rashid, on the cue of Musharraf, has been talking about forming the party for quite a time now, and he is expected to go ahead with it very soon.
The new party would nominate Hamid Nasir Chattha as it’s chief with Sheikh Rashid Ahmad the second man with the symbolic leadership of Pir Pagara. Lotas are rampant in Pakistan and they are desperate to come to some sort of power, and they would jump at this party.
The biggest advantage of this party is that it would pose no problem to Asif Ali Zardari for a coalition. Asif Ali Zardari cannot form a coalition with PML-Q, which he termed as Qaatil League in Sindh. Patching up with PML-Q means weakening of PPP’s strong Sindhi base.
So the future of PML-Q is as bleak as the future of Chaudhary Shujaat & co.

please allow me to negate you partially ,asif ali zardari has no roots and credible attitude as politician ,paving way through obliging different political party at their terms and condition can not be taken as a remarkable policy .PPP after shaeed mohtarma ,has already completed its tenure in politics of pakistan .all what is in conductivity is few last golden breaths.mr zardari has insanley showed such an attitude that has smashed his way of thinking.this similar smashed was noted when musharraf took aover in 1999 and for first quarter to 6 month it was a feel that things would be normal whereas with in 6 month the chap roasted the meal .mr asif ,by his attitude has explained and is still explaining that what this country has done to me wil be reverted back as retaliation.avoiding the major issues of the countries like judiciary ,food ,poverty ,and many such international isues are indicative of his body move to express,that he is there for the time being and is not responsible .similarly he will not participate in the election as well ,because ,what he can manage from outside will unduly indulge him in litigation being inside .lets wait fpr few more days to months .regards .

at the Centre PPP+PML-M +MQM goverment headed by Mr.Sh.Rashid Ahmed a friend in need
who would do anything to please Mr.Musharraf. Our so called President of Pakistan do not care for 160 Million Citizens feelings who voted on 18th Feb,08 for a change.
