People do have their own opinion. We all agree to disagree. Aftab likes Musharraf while you don’t. Which is understandable. I think people rather like to see a productive conversation than two people going at it like there is no tomorrow.

Those who are abusing Indians here should equally curse Pakistani-Indians too because they are doing the same here. Will they ?

Pakistan has acheived alot in 60 years. Our infrastructure like roads, housing, quality of life is much better then India. If you have ever visited Pakistan cities like Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi etc you will find them more open and developed. As per WTO which was where India got to be a reigonal trading hub in Telecoms, Industries the rule is if a country cannot produce anything cheaper then anyother country in the world then it should trade. We have worlds finest cotton, vegetables, fruits, wheat etc. We are self sufficient in most of agricultural products, no doubt the Sikh community before partition had done a magnificent job in Punjab to make the fields ripe for agriculture.

I do consider majority of Indian’s are wise, i have many friend as well as Indian customers from New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai etc and i do believe our traditions are the same. We are discussing politics how media can bring people from two countries to hate each other just to sell air time. This is not a general feeling among the common man, we have nothing to gain from fighting or buying military equipment. In the end if India spends money on military equipment who stands to benefit of course not the common man in India who is fighting for survival. It would certainly the foreign powers who stand to benefit from all this.

Lets give Peace a chance to flourish and it will open doors for common man of both countries to benefit on long terms. Lets be wise to think the difference between right and wrong including who stands to benefit if both countries fight certainly not the people of both countries.

There are people in Pakistan, who could be your next door neighbours, and who could be foreign

agents, entrusted with the job of creating a rift between India and Pakistan. The history of the vast

Rulers of different faiths, and then robbing the continent of its vast natural resources. The movie

makers have to make their money, and they select subjects which are touchy, and which can arouse

hatred. The character of the modern world has been poisoned by people’s sagging tongues, saying

to be very angry, and involved in ‘name calling’. If we the inhabitants of this Universe used our

common sense and exercised control, there would be Peace in this world. There was a time Muslims

Hindus, Sikhs and Christians lived together, respected each other’s faiths, enjoyed friendships, and

then came Partition and they butchered each other; a very sad time in the history of Hindustan.

Instead of darting arrows at each other, positive suggestions would bring people and nations closer,

and lIghten the tensions that affect the lives of people. We should give the younger generation a

chance to enlighten their minds in a calm and peaceful atmosphere, instead of living with hatred and

fear.

The “essay” is needed, if nothing else, just to help correct the impaired visions some people are suffering and letting third class commercial entities like this ‘rag’ to make up people’s mind.
