Morality Brigades in the Society

First, everybody must poke his or her nose in other’s matters, and secondly everybody must prescribe a medicine to the ill ones. Whenever people see a boy and a girl going along, either they suspect them or even the more moral-trigger ones question them.
Things are even more hard and embarrassing in the educational institutes and the workplaces, where if a female worker or student meet with male counterpart, she is considered as loose character girl. She gets a lifetime stigma and everybody contributes to defame her. In Punjab University Lahore, for example, the Jamat-e-Islami student wing has taken it it to themselves to question and even beat brutally the boys and girls who happen to be found near each other vicinity.
According to the media news, the terrible incident at a university in Faisalabad where campus security guards found a couple sitting beneath a tree and ‘punished’ them by shaving their heads is an appalling example of the fact that almost everyone in society sees it fit to impose their own brand of morality on others. The fact that the unfortunate couple belonged to a low-income group may have played some part in the treatment they received. The poor after all rarely complain. There are few whom they can complain to anyway.
We talk high about the women contribution in the society and give tall speeches that we are wasting our 50% human resources and we claim high about the equal opportunities and blah blah blah about women potential but in practice, we discourage and threaten the females to not to interact with the male counterparts to take or give help in professional or educational matters.
It’s onus of the liberal and sensible people to challenge to extremists, to come forward and let the Pakistani people decide, brought out the degree to which the society is not aware that extremism is not favoured by people and nobody has the right to shave off the heads of couples in rendezvous. No one should be able to impose their notions of ‘right’ on others.

We as a nation have Lost all Morale and ethical values. Religion is within some one, you can not enforce it.

Charity begins at home. These self-claimed angels must introspect before becoming morality brigadiers. They should look around in thier family and friends and work on their moral improvement before cutting loose on others.
Of course nobody is asking for pubs and bars and unchecked immoral activities in public, but extremism on the other end is also not solicited.
Jamat e Islami is a terrorist, anti-democratic, mafia-like criminal extremist organisation that must be immediately banned! Just as Shaheed Mohtarmar Benazir Bhutto reiterated in her last speech, we must never allow a bunch of violent extremists to take over this beautiful country of ours.
No one has the right to impose his/her interpretation of morality on others.

These Jamat Islami goons should be deported to Waziristan or better, to war ravaged Somalia, as they are unable to coexist with other citizens in a civilized society.

To what avail is that culture where so many restriction are in vogue and imposed——to see our society chaste that it does not give a desired security to a female that she may be able to walk a distance of few hundred yards from a bus stop to her house safely and leisurely—– that we find many culprits hanging around on all the nooks of streets that they will feel their duty to chase and harass the females till the poor souls—— they reach inside the confine of their houses.
We were living a quite happy life by practicing our culture and religion.Muhammed Bin Qasim came to help his Muslim sister from thousands of miles away which then led to having Muslims in Sub Continent.
But this all was before we got Americanized or westernized minds in our society who except speaking against all religion and culture have no other job.Money is not an issue for this portion of soceity as Americans are there to take care of them.
To Westernized minds,Westernization is solution to all of our problems which shows their pathetic mentailty and dishonesty with this land.Our culture has some flaws but soltion doesn’t lie in replacing our culture with Westernization.
I am English and I live in England. “The System” kills more people than street robbers every could. I am 61 years of age. For all of my life I have clearly seen that most problems have been manufactured by a combination of ignorance and arrogance. We, ordinary people, will only ever be at peace when the ‘Morality Brigadiers’, as mentioned in the title to the blog, desist from forcing their perception of a moral life onto other people. Yes, I do include my country’s ability to ‘reform’ the world into, quote “A New World Order”. Yes, the “West” has its excesses but that is insufficient reason to justify the repression of the innocent pleasures of those persons who do not wield sufficient power to stop said punishment.
You are just furstrated that nobody wants these moarilty brigades. What is this this westernization you just can’t stop bashing. We are all humans. Get over it.
What is nonsense about morality restrictions in our society?
This time of dating were happened at our parents time in universities.
it is not linked with the restriction of society as our society in urban area is comparatively liberal one since the time of our parents.
It is linked with conservative and narrow minded family setup.The boys and girls usually play hide and seek in front of other students come from frustrated and disturbed family setup and purge their frustration in this way wherever get little opportunity to show their love talents.
People have wrong perception about Punjab university as very strong dating is observed in many popular departments.Top one are fine arts, Psychology, MPA, MBA, ENGLISH and many many more.Jamaitis usually attack on political rivals and then are blamed like that otherwise we had also observed dating of long beard with hijab covering in corridors of University or in the name of meeting of jamaitis.
Dating is observed in all area and classes of Pakistan except for tribal culture but their boys and girls get their heart’s desire while coming out for studies.
In fields, in kiln areas, road constructions, servants at home, medical professionals in hospitals, in offices even in air flying professional never missed any chance of enjoying life like that without hindrance.
If we come to higher level all kinds of modern brothels,bar high level guest houses are available in major cities of Paksitan where all come as per range of pocket,
No mullah dares to point VIP dating points but surely attacks on lower class in find like that.
Our newspapers are daily filled with many such news that mother of young ones run away with her adulterer like that. So before running away she would have completed all the morality levels in her married life.
Daily 10 to 15 illegitimate children are collected in edhi centers and same numbers we found in garbage bins showing the activism of or moral brigade.
So please tell me where exists such moral brigade .Little restrictions are seen on young couples dating point as police men also want to warm their pockets by seeing the warm gestures of these funny and scary couples.
