OK I am a bit confused after reading the title for this short article with the actual content or body of this article. I feel it stopped too short, yes there is no doubt the fighting ranks have the best interest of nation and country deep at there heart, but once they cross a Colonel's rank most of them are completely transformed, may it would have been nice if the author followed that.
Power is very addictive, and the top brass is addicted to not only power but money as well. As long as army does not address this core issue of corruption among itself it can not resolve the issues.

Dear Friends,

There is no doubt that in the past the military top brass is found repeatedly louvered in;------ ad is seen resorting to lateral entries to come in and been holding the rein of power in the country. There may be many reasons for that--- but it must be understood that institution of Pak army as such has always managed to stay at distance and got nothing to do with such melodramas which have often been staged at our national political scenes.

While handling the rein of power the top brass has always been in the spotlight for an extensive criticism also. Supposedly they always took over the rein at the most testing times and in the best interest of the nation. But rather than reaping some appreciations for it, the end game has always been rather downcast murky and dismal--- earning scorn and dejection for the institution also.

Invariably two out of three past military regimes have brought the modernity and advancement in the society and that they always moved in as a saviour when political forces were found failing. It has always been a rescue operation,---- rather demanded by the nation and this input may not be disregarded.

The present-day military operations Rah e Rast as well as Rah e Nijat are the operations under taken by the army to restore the lost national territories in the fields of ideology as well as to secure the governmental writ in the lost grounds at the hands of traitors and enemy of this nation where ironically some political parties are found working as abettors.

<b>
War against terrorism is a war for the very Survival of Pakistan.

This war is a battle between democracy and oppression; a battle between Secularism and Mullahism.

InshaAllah our forces of freedom, liberty and democracy will prevail and we will crush the terrorists forever!

Agreed, that's what is the core of our armed forces. And due to this only I always argue with my friends that we cannot blame all army due to actions of some.
