I wonder where the US would be standing now?? why are we blessed with such narrow-minded, selfish (so-called) intelligencia that cannot look beyond its own immediate future and benefits? Iftikhar will retire even after he's restored - if not from court then the profession of life, but what is he leaving behind? A legacy of challenging the state continously rather than getting the big things fixed first i.e. drone attacks, the war in the north and west borders, crippled economy, militant threats to the nation... and focus on everything that talks of them!
