Khadija,

I agree to most of your points except for one, regarding the deal between NWFP and TSNM. This is like you are ready to surrender to the extremists and let them have their say, if you are not able to contain them.

This is setting a bad example. The people with whom the army was fighting are militants who have disrupted life of the people over the region. Do you still think it is good?

The government should crush the movement of these morons like Aitzaz Ahsan. Aitzaz Ahsan first betrayed Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, then he betrayed his own country on several occasions. He should be tried for treason. 'Chaudhry Justice' Iftikhar and his unruly gang of so called lawyers should stop their 'tamasha' now. Enough is enough! The people of Pakistan want Roti, Kapra, and Makan. People of Pakistan are least concerned about 'Chaudhry Justice' Iftikhar's restoration. 'Chaudhry Justice' Iftikhar was a PCO judge appointed by a dictator. He should never be re-instated.

Former 'Chaudhry Justice' Iftikhar is a moron, who wants to keep the entire country hostage to his demands. He can not even speak in English fluently. It is a wonder that we once had him as the top judge of this country. He should not be allowed to keep the country hostage to his demand of a come back. After all 'Chaudhry Justice' Iftikhar is a PCO judge, who was appointed by a dictator.

Name a single country where a Judge starts addressing rallies? Name a single country where a Chief Justice takes it upon himself to monitor the prices of eggs, milk , bread and what not?

As for Aitazaz Ahsan, he is a known traitor, who should be tried for treason.

considering the deal the govt has been forced to sign in NWFP with TSNM simply because justice wasn't doled out on time... don't you think this deal might actually have some good to it? in addition, thanks to this single CJ's diatribe, which has lost its meaning on the devastated awam by the way, the common man is still running pillar to post in hope of elusive justice - which now, thanks to CJ Iftikhar, is expendable at the hands of those who are meant to dispense it honestly!!
no wonder they say it's being educated that matters, not literate. if this is how the US had dealt with Al Gore vs Bush in the midterm elections in 2004, when 5republican Supreme Court judges out of 9, had brought 50 states to a standstill, demanding that Al Gore's popular votes be accepted at all costs... I wonder where the US would be standing now?? why are we blessed with such narrow-minded, selfish (so-called) intelligencia that cannot look beyond its own immediate future and benefits? Iftikhar will retire even after he's restored - if not from court then the profession of life, but what is he leaving behind? A legacy of challenging the state continously rather than getting the big things fixed first i.e. drone attacks, the war in the north and west borders, crippled economy, militant threats to the nation... and focus on everything that talks of them! My dad taught me a long time ago that even if we siblings were murdering each other at home, we fight together against external threats... our focus is twisted way out of place for the need of the time.

Govt has now focussed all its energies towards lawyers movement,NRO groups is particularly active for producing deceleration in this movement,So at this moment these are our nonstate actors that are producing friction in our atmosphere. These non state actors are giving ideas on daily basis to duffer zardari and he is now on same stage where once musharf was trapped owing to his overdose idiocies. These non political characters never learned from their blunders and history but keep on trying their unskilled talent which ultimately create thrust and agitation on our street levels.
