PML(N) founder Mian Nawaz Sharif came out of his home (Model Town, Lahore) and talked to the media and asked the workers to stand behind him for the march. The crowd was already charged and hearing the address become cheared up.

Nawaz Sharif started from home a Superintendent of Police stepped ahead and asked Nawaz Sharif that you are not allowed to hold public gathering. Nawaz Sharif told him that we are holding a peaceful rally, but that SP insisted on his stand point, then three or four PML(N) workers stepped ahead and pushed that SP back and asked him to remain out of their way.

The pace of the caravan was fast initially and people had to join it swiftly, but when it reached on Ferozpur road Inspector General Police Punjab ordered to withdraw force and open the roads.

All the king’s horses and all the king’s men in Punjab vanished from the way. Caravan chanting slogans ‘jena hoga merna hoga, dherna hoga dherna hoga’ in English ‘live or die, we will hold sit-in’.

If same scene is witnessed in Rawalpindi and Islamabad tomorrow, one is afraid that will law enforcement agaencies and rangers may not be able to stop the march towards constitutional avenue. Aitezaz Ahsan after taking some rest after restless five days and nights have joined Nawaz Sharif and Lawyers in Lahore High Court.

Nawaz will continue for Islamabad by Grand Trunk Road where there shall be many stops held be PML(N) worker to join the Long March.

This situation can only be handled by taking a step backword by the government and re-instate Justice Iftikhar as CJP to revert many hundred thousand steps.
