By Irfan Waheed • Dec 19th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 5 CommentsNobody has been arressted, nobody has been summoned to court, even the Exit Control List is nowhere to be seen and there is lots of confusion about this very issue and infact the secretary of interior has been suspended along with some FIA officials as they barred the defense minister Ahmad Mukhtar from going to China.
Private media channels, especially the GEO created a kind of sensationalism over the Supreme Court’s momentous decision to strike down the most shameful document in national history – the NRO. Some journalists were predicting that right after this decision in December, Zardari regime will be no more. Even after couple of days of the verdict, nothing has changed.
His Excellency Asif Ali Zardari, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Supreme Commander of its Armed Forces is immune from any hand at this point in time, but what about others?

President Zardari need to act as a Baluch strong man and issue an order Pardoning all 8000 NRO listed man and woman. And let the country move forward instead of Corrupt Judge dictating the sacking of Govt officials of his RANK. This is so stupid of this Corrupt Chief Judge.
Really the show turned out to be lackluster. The theatrics of Geo ” geo tau aise” and “geo and geene do” proved hollow and just sensational. Why they created so much hype and is it national interst or something else?
AZ & Co got what they deserved.”You reap what you sow” The dude has lips like a duck! “Don’t be arrogant!” LOL! True reality there are scam artist in every crack waiting for you to come along & pour out you money It is by mean the biggest douche in creation. I mean: Evolution.

At the time of Elections of February 2007, the politicians who were otherwise ineligible for contesting elections on the grounds of their convictions etc but NRO provided them the immunity and were benefitted they— are under the dark clouds.
By declaring NRO as ‘void ab initio’ (as it was never there) by Supreme Court, although NRO is hyped up extensively but realistically speaking; there may be very few who stand disqualified and made ineligible to hold the seats in parliament or their ministerial offices.
All those who now may find their names even in immigration control list also but they are not disqualified as mere allegation—– holds no waters. President Zardari enjoys any court trial immunity for holding a supreme office as president.
In any case there are very few political figures in the given NRO list. The remaining name list pertains to corruption, arson looting or murders by others. These cases were already in the courts. NRO, just gave them some respite— a break for few years. There will be a resume of their criminal cases and may take – a normal run of courts as they were usually doing before——.
It may be a long wait—till all such allegations are proved in the courts and people are convicted or set free.
