If there is a consensus throughout Pakistan that NRO is a black law and it’s against the basic human rights and against every law, and when even the lawyer of the government has called it so, and government hasn’t defended the NRO in the courts, and the court have ruled against NRO, then why PPP is creating fuss?

Not only they are raising hell, hue and cry they are getting aggressive day by day and they have started passing resolutions in their regional meetings in the favors of Asif Ali Zardari, the chairperson of PPP. Why Zardari has taken this decision to himself? If he is innocent and if all the wealth he has got has been earned by him honestly, then he shouldn’t be afraid of anything and he should himself open up.

But PPP CEC and provincial leaders have become ultra aggressive and they are talking about dead bodies and threats and exploiting their Sindh base and even some of them are dishing out terrifying threats to the journalists and it seems that PPP is fighting a proxy war with the Supreme Court and even with the GHQ.

PPP should be realistic here. Time is still with them and perhaps luck too. They don’t have any achievement on the governance horizon and they have many allegations and even convictions upon them. They need to cool down and they need to engage all the factions of the society. They need to come forward in transparent fashion. Nobody wants derailment of the democracy and not even the ouster of present regime, but at the same time nobody wants corruption bloom and wholesale loot festivals.
