This is fact of life be ready for it.

People living in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Karachi, Lahore will get much more media coverage. Take a simple example from the Brig’s post, Islamabad incident was not big but still it was in the capital of the country and that can pass panic through people. The same incident in a small area will not get much attention as it does not affect lives of many people.

Also the money that these channels make is from advertisements, the target audiences are people from cities and towns. Got the point.

Nazia — vedio covering is not ilportant- However at least the media may conduct some tal show on such events- which could be a great consolation for the people of the effected are that their grief is shared by media and person beloging to other provinces. by passing such tragic event does cause ill feelings among those people And i think all patriotic citzens of pakistan should equely share the grief of other country men as it be having many positive impacts

They show when it rains in Delhi but not Tsunami till it is shown in CNN and BBC.Even Indira Gandhi’s murder was known to son Rajiv through BBC!!!
I think more important is the recent destroying of our Indian sub continental Muslim culture which is represented by Sufi Darghas and sufi Music by elements who owe allegiance to SAUDI ARABIA.

there is no need of blaming media coverage in this volatile areas.Media has lost its many of daring journalists in the line of duty in these areas.Even wife of one journalist was also killed when she was trying to transfer the reports of her late husband to authentic media men.latest incident of Moosa khan in swat was in front of all media groups.Go and talk to their families and friends and all are blaming security agencies of their mysterious murders.Now this has been extended to target killings of journalist living in urban areas.So do you think any group and family allow their mates to go their for reporting in harsh and deadly conditions.
Jamrood incident was just show off of alqeada power in our area so that our godfather US will not be hesitated for finalizing its future war plans in our area.Good job Kiyani you have reported to your masters in US with practical demonstration in our mountains.

The discrimantory attitude of media does create the perception that only events realted with Punjab or Karachi are most important while other parts of the country are not much important0 This sort of attitude definatly cause frustration and ill feelings
