Senator Dr Abdul Malik informed the committee that about 500 families had migrated from Pakistan, especially from Balochistan, to other countries due to the deteriorating law and order situation and other factors, including political, economic and social ones. However, on enquiry by Senator SM Zafar in this regard, the Ministry of Minorities Affairs expressed its ignorance about the matter and promised to look into it. <b>Senator Dr Khatu Mal informed the committee that young Hindu girls had been abducted, forcibly converted to Islam and married after conversion</b>.
