A graduate of Barani Institute of Information Technology, UAAR, Rawalpindi, Kashif belongs to a wealthy and strong background, but his fame comes from his intrepid and fearless hosting of his programs.
He was disliked intensly by the Musharraf regime and now the news is that he is not really one of the favorites of the current regime. He is out of scene for some weeks now and his program is not being telecasted by the ARY ONE WORLD channel. Rather a lukewarm newscaster is trying to fill in Kashif’s shoes with embarrassing failure.
Despite of all of its shortcomings, the PPP government has shown considerable tolerance for the media and they should themselves ask ARYONEWORLD to restore Kashif’s programs.

Kashif Abbasi wherever you are , please enjoy your life there and don’t ever think of showing your face on tv again.
We are all happy without you and your lousy shows. Your other ‘competent’ companions are doing very well on the ‘given’ agenda and remain busy in giving the journalism, especially the electronic media ‘a new dimension’.
Over ambitious young journalists are following your foot steps in quest of ‘fame and wealth’ and you are a sort of colorful media icon and a symbol of ‘yellow journalism’ for them.
They have learnt a lot from you specially the art of ‘putting words in other’s mouth’. They are also trying to copy your ‘funny face expressions’ but it will take them years to imitate you, I believe.
Learning how to abruptly change the topic if the things are getting away form the ‘target’ is a quality abundantly found in you and contributed a lot towards making you one of the ‘most biased anchor person of modern times’, a big achievement in itself.
Last but not least is your obvious ‘hatred’ for Pervez Musharraf which makes you stand high and above over most of the fair and able anchor persons.
Kashif Abbassi, as you have done a lot to this nation and this nation owe a lot to you, one last favour from your side will make you live in their heart for ever. Please , please do not show your face on tv again.

Kashif Abbasi is put off air because of the controversy which erupted after his March 21st interview with Salman Taseer; the governor of Punjab. Salman Taseer felt quite uneasy for the conscious pricking questions that Kashif Abbasi asked and so the very next day under a orders from the president house ARY was forced to put him off air. Well- I think Kahif does not need restoration at ARY, I am sure he can find his job at some other dare devil TV channel.
In the name of freedom of speech, what needs to be done is that all the other anchors, Hamid Mir of Geo TV, Talat Hussain of Aaj TV, Javed Chaudhry etc should put him on their shows as often as possible and expose the forces behind this action. They must object to this that after all why he must be ticked off on the behest of the PPP government.

Dear Hassan Amin,
I hope you would have listened to the interview (link given at 4 above); one can easily ascertain that Abbasi was not ticking only the governor Tahseer off for unleashing of his draconian rule and Abbasi was giving him a thorough thrashings but it was amply clear that surely after all that he was seen exposisng and undermining governor ’s authority —- he himself will also be ticked off. And there it happened as expected.
The man ought not be silenced that he was seen challenging a political authority. If today he is gone then sure you will find many more in line to follow him and that should not be done.
He sometimes break all rules, and anchor should always behave like host not another politician. If he is banned, I don’t mind. But I don’t expect such things from a “Democrat Govt.”

Reference your letter H/9759/09–NAS-3126 dated : 13/10/2009 in reply to my application submitted in the court of your honors to settle my subject issue.
Sir, I would like to mention here that following the instruction of your above mentioned letter I approached the management of PTCL to get my longstanding issue resolved. From the context of your letter I positively presumed that the management of PTCL has received a clear message from your good offices that I would be absorbed and be provided a suitable job but unfortunately I have been disappointed abruptly.
The management of PTCL has replied me that since the clearance of all dues and final settlement of my father have been completed hence the provision of employment on son quota does not apply on me.
Sir, I would very humbly like to state that I am the only member left behind to support my family after the retirement of my father and if I have not been provided a job the maintenance of my whole family would be crushed and destroyed.
