There are no ethnic or religious differences in the metropolis of Karachi. All the clash and conflict is between the political thugs of PPP and MQM who are armed to their teeth and who have got all the backing from top. Starting from the looting and arsoning of Boulton Market, and the target killing going across the city, both MQM and PPP are involved and the same cat is also safeguarding the milk.

Karachi is the home to almost six million Mohajirs and three million Pushtoon with one Million Balochis. PPP is strong in areas of Balochis like Lyari and MQM is strong in Mohajir dominated areas. Overwhelming majority of Balochis and Mohajirs and Pushtoons don’t consider any difference among each other, but handful of goons from MQM and PPP are working for their bosses to control Karachi’s precious land and resources.

This is all about power and greed. Lyari gangsters are backed by PPP stalwarts and Azizabad, Korangi dons are facilitated by the MQM. Ironically enough, both parties are the coalition partners in the Sindh and now they are fighting among each other and the Karachiites are loosing life and property in the cross fire.

Karachi needs to get rid of both MQM and PPP.
