Kamran Akmal Blackmails PCB

By Haris Hashmi • Jan 11th, 2010 • Category: Entertainment • No Responses

Kamran Akmal, the infamous catch-dropper and stumps-missing player of Pakistan, has  been at last asked to play only as batsman in the natioal team and his replacement as wicket keeper is on the way.

But the stubborn and intransigent Kamran Akmal has refused to do so and has said that he would play in both capacities and will not take part in the Hobart Test merely as batsman. Kamran Akmal’s position in the side has come under intense scrutiny after a dismal performance in second Test at Sydney in which he dropped four catches and failed with the bat as Pakistan handed Australia a remarkable win that sealed the series.

Actually Kamran Akmal is part of the pressure group in the national team. PCB needs to take bold step and overhaul the team while throwing out all the conspirators along with their supporters within the board. More importantly, the influx of new talent should continue in the team and PCB should start a nation-wide talent hunt on war-footings.
