Justice Punishes Dictator and His Cronies
By Salman Mugsi • Jul 31st, 2009 • Category: Politics, Worth A Second Look • 64 CommentsPakistan stands proud. Pakistan celebrates justice. Mr. Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has punished the tinpot unwanted and unwelcomed dictator General (r) Pervez Musharraf and the people from Gwadar to Dara Adam Khel and from Ghotki to Skardu, people are singing, dancing and rejoicing.
It’s been quite a time since Mush, the-then Chief of the Army Staff and illegal and reeking President of Pakistan, imposed martial law while his own government, led by his prime minister and his hugely unwieldy cabinet, continued to function and rubber-stamp his actions. He murdererd many and he sucked the life out of the people. He and his cronies plundered Pakistan and thrown it to the wolves.
Now as the coward commando hides in London, the lion-heart justice gives verdict. The country rests on the judiciary, it’s the leveller, the dispenser of justice, the only place you can go to for relief, and if you don’t have that you don’t have anything.
We hate Musharraf and we hate PCO and we hate Nov 3. Nov 3 wasn’t just one day; it just didn’t impact us for one day or in November, it impacted us for too long a time, but now this has been reversed. According to the media sources, Supreme Court Friday declared the November 3 measures adopted by former President Pervez Musharraf as extra-judicial, illegal and unconstitutional. A 14-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry heard the constitutional petitions regarding PCO judges, appointments of judges of higher judiciary and November 3, 2007 steps. The verdict said that sacking the judges was illegal and unconstitutional. Article 279 of the Constitution was violated on November 3, 2007, it said. The Supreme Court termed the steps taken on November 3, 2007 as null and viod.
Long Live Justice. Damn to Dictators.

you and your invisable majority are making quite a noise,
perhaps now you realize what you yourself said yesterday Real life is far different from fictional life….you see mush’s popularity his support base and his silent majority are all a creation of fiction and imagination, it was the lotas of ganja jee who made mush belive that he has the support of the silent majority so he can do anything, exactly like they fooled nawaz sh before he was shown the door. these people whom msuh tried to use, are attracted to power But the lotas used mush instead and disposed him off like a toilet tissue
if you are feeling bad then start imagining again that mush is a hero and a supperman , a man who holds the magic key to all problems, heros and supermans exist only in fiction,
Main bhi Nahi Maanta — Selective Justice !
Thatis a great judgment, a historic one - In future a dictator will think hundred in one time to sabotage consituation
Independent and strong Judiciary can be a great hope for the country
It must be supported
Jo iss faisaly ko nahi manta(thoes who disagree with this verdict), please raise your hands
Please all the supporters of fictional story of nawaz and CJP nexus or the cjp being a tool for nawaz read this

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court ignored on Thursday a plea to order initiation of high treason charges against former president Pervez Musharraf for proclaiming emergency on Nov 3, 2007, as army chief.
Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, who is heading a 14-judge bench hearing challenges to the imposition of emergency, observed that this was not the responsibility of the court. The court would rather take a simple route to decide cases before it, instead of derailing the system.
Aap ki apni adalat ki jiay jo faisla
Haan magar woh faisla ik akhari Taqdeer ka
Musharraf: A maestro who failed to get any credit for what he has done for this nation and today the court selective verdict speaks:

Arias Sahib, in all this jubilation and ‘hoopla hoop’ about your most favorite verdict - come on, stop pretending to be surprised, you, your friends and every cat & mouse in your street knew what was coming, all I am hoping is that you have not forgotten to notice the ‘order’ conveyed through the Attorney General to the ‘full bench’ of the whole bunch of people sitting there - no verdict to ‘rock the boat’ - “Yes Sir”, compliance is promised - the ’system’ can stay as filthy as it is. Talk about freedom, fairness and independance - no don’t talk about it, first read about such fine things!
Aftab
if you remember the day mush was issued summon for this case i told you its a clear cut case and no ambiguiities,
this prompted you to say “every dog knows the verdict”, not difficult to guess who you were refering to, anyway all i am saying is I am not surprised nor i am pretending to be
mush was a dictator and he has been declared what he was, a dictator,
this case was not to question the vision he had for pakistan, mush should be strong enough to survive this verdict, if people saw him hoenst then his day will come , we have seen fromer dictator being elected president of Niegeria
and if you remember, i told you that mush wount get death punishment, and he hasn’t
>>>>>>>>>>>>>’system’ can stay as filthy as it is.
dont worry mush also intended to keep it this way , when he made the NRO, rather this could(i didnt use the word “will”) eventually lead to the scrapping of NRO, and perhaps our wish of a clean system may come true,
(i know its difficult but) lets hope for the best, our approach may vary but our target is same i.e “A Prosperous Pakistan”
i take it as a positive
Arias, my friend, enough telling lies about President Musharraf - how about telling a few truths about all the ‘good people’ asking for his blood. Let’s do it - let’s see if you can speak truth also for a change.
Arias Boy,
As usual your comments are full of anti-Musharraf prattle. You may be a virulent critic of former President Musharraf, but try to think rationally here.Firstly, no one is stunned by the court’s decision, as it was widely anticipated, owing to the very composition of the 14 member bench; all bench members constituted the aggrieved party in this particular case. In fact the prescience of statements made recently by the Chief Judge of LHC was sufficient to depict the mood of the judiciary.
And President Musharraf’s truculent political adversaries, have also been demanding such a decision from the supreme court. These anti Musharraf politicians have been prevaricating on the real issues by trying to divert attention of the masses to this ‘Nov 3rd Emergency’ matter that was relegated to the pages of history almost two years ago. And now that the ‘expected’ verdict has come, does this decision have any far reaching implications, my friend? The answer , quite obviously is NO. If and when General Musharraf or his allies come to power in future, they can always ask the SC of that day for a reassessment of this decision. The decision can always be overturned by the SC of the future!
Tanzeel Bhai:
Main Bhi Nahi Manta!
Aftab Sahab,
This fellow Arias and his like minded people call President Musharraf a dictator. I wonder if they feel the same way for dictators Zia, Yahya Khan.
Arias boy,
If the SC of Justice Chaudhry is so solicitous to stymie military takeovers in the future through their judgments, what about about ordering the disinterment of the remains of Zia, Yahya from their graves and hanging their skeletons or throwing their bones on a garbage dump as a punishment? Why doesn’t the SC give it a thought? After all, both were 1000000 x brutal dictators than our former military ruler President Musharraf, who according to many is the best ruler Pakistan has ever had.
