JSQM is Targeted : Sindh Smoulders
By Salman Mugsi • Jul 25th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 4 CommentsAs per the details, a few days ago some activists of the JSQM were killed in Karachi and in interior Sindh by unidentified persons. Recently, armed men had killed a young JSQM activist Zulfiqar Mallah in Sikander Goth. In reaction to the murders, JSQM Chairman, Basheer Khan Kureshi, announced a protest rally on Friday. A rally of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM), being led by JSQM Chairman, Basheer Khan Kureshi, was ambushed in the Malir Cantonment police limits on Friday as a result of which a senior JSQM leader and an assailant were killed, according to the media reports.
The Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) has accused the agencies, as the assassins were captured by the mob at the spot and ID cards of the assassins belonged to PMA, while the interior minister Sindh Zulfiqar Mirza has said that the ID cards are fake.
Already in Balochistan, there is the huge unrest and people point fingers towards the security forces, and now it seems another effort by the enemies of the country to ignite the rift between security forces and the already angry nationalist parties of Sindh. Government of Sindh at once must bring all the stakeholders to the table and do everything to soothe the festering wounds of the nationalists and others.

I don’t see a Balochistan like situation in Sindh however I agree that the govt must take a strict notice of the issue. How popular is JSQM I wonder….
The straight new goes like below..
Musthaq Khaskheli Cheif of Thatta Chapter of JSQM and an attacker killed in cross firing near Safora Goth Karachi.
Attempt to kill JSQM Chairman Bashir Qureshi failed when MQM Haqiqi’s Worker Syed Mustafa Zahid killed in retaliatory firing by JSQM workers.
According to local media reports 4 persons on two motorcycles open fired on the car of JSQM Chairman Bashir Qureshi when he was leading a rally in protest against killing of their worker. The tactic was similar to those used in target killing incidents in the city which cost more than 50 lives so far.
JSQM workers recovered cards of an Intelligence agency from both the attackers.
The dead assailant Syed Mustafa Zaida was arrested along with Chairman Haqiqi Afaq Ahmed back in 2004 and was a member of Haqiqi Liaquatabad Sector Committee that time. He was released on bail after eight months.
The Haqiqi faction was introduced in Karachi at the time of Operation against MQM in Karachi by Intelligence Agencies.
Armed groups in all political parties and communities are now controlling the city affairs.12 may has given us very wrong message of survival and all followed the same principle for their survival and show of power to their rivals and this is to hold the gun in hand.Get justice on time and on the spot, no need to go to anywhere for following/obeying state laws.

The involvement of Haqiqi faction in target killing, which came to light by chance, has finally compelled you to realise the fact that all political parties and communities are maintaining armed wings and resort to voilence whenever they want.
Before this, any act of violence had instanlty been labelled to MQM and its workers by people like you who love to hate MQM.
