Jamat-e-Islami Referendum Results
By Shayan Khan • Oct 24th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 20 CommentsAfter reading the results of referendum regarding Kerry-Lugar Bill flashing through the slides of TV channels, facilitated by Jamat-e-Islami, I laughed so hard that I fell off my chair. Goodness me, Gosh!. Results are:
22 Million people casted the vote.
19 Million disapproved the Kerry Lugar Bill.
The whole junta of Pervez Musharraf and the companions of Ziaul Haq would surely be envying of Jamat-e-Islami as JI took lead on all the former referendums. JI, the party, which never have been to the power, and they find it hard to even win 2 plus seats out of hundreds of seats of national asssembly and also they fail miserably in provincial assemblies. Even they get insulted through ballot at the local levels.
O My, what a farce. 22 Million people casted the vote in JI referendum. Munawar Hassan, you have done it man.

JI can have more voters than this number.Each man of swat bears 8 to 10 kids.So If he has 2 million men voters in NWFP then you can see how it would become 22 million.
there is nothing to laugh to see his supporters,.We should actually weep on seeing their stone age life styles. the most poor citizens having train of hungry, illiterate future generation following the foot steps of their deprived father.

yes they are trying best to protect their implosive characters .
What ever mass killings of these people are being done JI should share the responsibility with military management of that time.They trapped and politically misguided the people by using the name of reigion and got them ready through brain wash for such kind of nonsense guerrilla war under ISI training through US arms.Now their arms have become obsolete for further jihad like activities so they have started making slogans go US go.

For me, the no. of votes JI achieved or not but, important is that, we need to know whether people of Pakistan want K.Lugar bill or not!
I am 99% sure that, all the voters oppose this bill.

Jamaat-e-Islami and RSS in India opposed creation of India and Pakistan. They opposed Quaid-eAzam in Pakistan and killed Gandhiji in India.

Inspite of some political differences with JI, I can’t stop myself from appreciating the true “Awami” politics of JI with clear and logical standings on various issues. This referendum of JI shows the trend in the thinking of masses of the country and I am surprised at the thinking of some of the commenters who are throwing baseless allegations on JI.
JI’s stand on the issues of judiciary, drone attacks, millitary operations, Baluchistan issue and on this slavery bill, is the voice of the majority of the people of Pakistan.
I again appreciate the right democratic vision of JI and some other parties like PTI and to some extent PML-N.
I salute the work done by Jamat . It is the only party in Pakistan loyal to their religion & country.
PPP should show some mantality and stop their American Slaviory .

You “appreciate the right democratic vision of” parties who were created by and have been supporting of dictators all along? Where have you been all these years? Read history. Jamaat Islami even handed over Imran when establishment wanted it done and that is not even too long ago.

Jamat-i_Islami is selling Religion in the form of Politics.Religion should be left alone from politics. They are all LOOSERS never won more then 10 seats in any election..

Our army supplied arms to those who acquire such religious approach of jihad and killing and worked vice versa along with JI.
Now our army is trying to disarm those fanatics which were trained by these looser.
These 10 seats were given to them under ISI design and fabrication scheme and now master minder of this 10 seats gen Ihtisham zameer is enjoying his life in his luxurious villa of Bahria town and playing golf in leisure times.
Musharraf who allowed this MMA team to rule is passing his enjoyable time in lecturing west that he was against extremism forces .
JI was never in authoritative position in history of Pakistan unless they got the support of our sold generals.They always worked under army umbrella to create havoc in our system.
I think there has been a gret misconception in the minds of the people about the part of Jamat-e-Islami in the Creation of Pakistan.
