There is not a day that passes with out head lines news when Pakistan has not been maligned for its extremist activities. But it is strange very strange that a little quarrel between two displaced persons of Swatt operation when they were found struggling to win over a single mattress for their bed in one of the camps setup for Internal displaced persons; it also becomes a head line of Los Angles Times– World News.

you are just shock by seeing one picture but people coming from these areas after doing their volunteer works as per their capacity are telling us more horrible stories.Aide is not matching with the such horrible human flood and if this war will not end in coming days we would surely see blood shed of civilians on supply issues.These people have come here along with their fire arms that is necessary part of their culture.The govt of NWFP has almost failed to accommodate such huge flow and still lacking in crisis management procedures.

Theme of this picture was, to high lite the fact that how Pakistan is being targeted for a little news like this which is turned into a real defaming element for Pakistan. As this was the only big news in the world.
I also understand that it may not take long that this common display of commotion of these displaced people shown like in this picture may turn into a impending nuisance for the other people staying there. Under the circumstances they were forced to flee the expected horrors of war but were able to make it to these camps.
In view of the constraints evolved by the military planner to avail the element of surprise over Taliban these displaced people were given very less time to vacate their homes in target areas. Of course this evacuation has turned out to be the exodus of its kind but it has proved to be an enabler toward the success of Pak Army plans. Surely anti Pakistan elements (APEs); the traitors Taliban are now being successfully eliminated.
Hopefully there is short stay for these guests in the camps and they return to their homes safe and sound as soon as their areas are cleared by the Pak Army; who are busy in their disinfestations action of Taliban menace.
There are reports that people have started moving back.
Mr. A. khokar! I fail to understand what goes in your mind when you write such thigs and I am afraid you are not helping yourselves and also wasting our precious time.
Why I am angry is that instead of putting your energy in writing about the tragic situation in terms of large scale migration of people due to the failed army operation in Swat and other places in the Malakand division..
I hope you refrain from posting such inaucous stories and also would like to advise you to NOT run after nazia.

Well it is not my fault that you choose to remain aloof and do not know that while you were absent from the scene we have been discussing a lot especially the mass exodus which has occurred when the public was asked to vacate the areas so that Pak military may conduct their operation freely to cleanse the area infested with the influx of the traitors that our enemies were some how successful to have them infiltrated in to our ranks and files.
Any how; although the general public has suffered an exceptional inconvenience and has gone through an ordeal of such a mammoth exodus but it was essential to carry out the operation like this other wise to sift these anti Pakistan elements from among the masses was certainly difficult and many more casualties would have occurred. There is no gain with out pain.
Al;Hamdou lillah a large area has been cleared and is now cleansed of the cancerous Taliban. With Allah’s grace and blessings the wizards of Pak army have been able to carry out the assigned task very efficiently and successfully. pak fauj ko Salaam.
But I feel sorry for our enemies that it is not good news for them. Looks like they are in a grip of spell of death like waves found swirling in their camps…….. for last two weeks; it has been very disappointing for them that their planned annihilation of Pakistani society at the hands of stooges like Taliban injected in our Pakistani society and that Taliban were so excessively armed, fed and supported. Today they have been subjected to such a defeat.
The big plan of extinction of this great and resilient nation and send them out of the world has miserably failed.

I have checked from local groups working in Mardan as their is no return of these IDPs at this moment.People are stuck at the national highway at the point of cross section of chitral mardan road.Many families have left their old ones or one to two attendant back to their houses and they have lost all contacts with them.Some are trying to move the areas through mountains to reach them for giving them supplies .
Sorry I dont agree with you as far any competency of this operation is concerned.They neither showing the deadbodies of terrorists nor locals are claiming any kind of elimination of these talibanic characters in their areas.Most of them cursing the army for shelling on their residence and killings and huritn local community.Data is clearly showing that our army has done least attempt o restore its repute in eyes of public through their invisible and rhetoric attacks where they are also ready to sacrifice their own juniors officers .
How the top management of army are passing their good times in Islambad/ pindi clubs and golf lawns is obvious to local residents and symbol of their non seriousness in this critical war.Military operation and ISI chief has spent 2 weeks of war in USA and our COAS has just left for France for giving lecture there.So what you say is exactly saying our PTV and this is same attitude that our military management had adopted in 1971.So just pray for help from invisible power as visible powers are impotent and incompetent which have again proved that they are actually problem creator rather then problem solvers.
i agree completely as the top pakistan taliban leadership already moved out from their so called strategicc positions as the army would like us to believe. The fact remains that the figures given by the army HQ is nothing but fudged up figures. This is only meant to impres the donor nations that pakistan is dealing with the talibans in a very heavy handedness manner.
waht this continuing operatuion has done is lowering the already sullied image of pakistani army in the euyes of its;s own people and also the world community as a whole.

This is an eye wash. Pakistani army is killing its own people in SWAT and other areas. SWAT & other areas are like the darfur like situation where people have moved out into camps at the mercy of NGOs.

I had my inkling that this addressee of mine may not be Premji but to satisfy his curiosity I was able to give him an appropriate reply and later I did ask him about any evidence that he may have; where I was found displaying my intentions—- going against Nazia. But so far the man has not returned back.
But matter of fact is that our visitors from India they do find here on TPS that most of us are often found critical of our Armed forces and their past conduct. Seemingly they are seen looking for any such person who may favour their point of view. Invariably they have been found deviating the discussions, away from the original topic toward the swamps of Pakistani weaknesses. And all most all of them have also been trying to built up an personnel acquaintances and some time trying to butter up the writers with an intension to pluck away few of our writers to their camp of thoughts. I may be wrong but since I prefer to be straight forward in my conduct so I am narrating hitherto that all of us must evaluate and be at guard all the times of such intruders.
This land, the land of our dreams —Pakistan is entrusted to us by God Almighty. We have to defend its borders; may these be the physical borders, ideological borders or the intellectual borders that people like you and me keep on, putting up, in our humble capacity, an effort to defend those border lines. To defend it is our sole duty and history tells us that all border lines only live and are seen agile; when its defenders keep on sprinkling their blood on these demarcated lines to keep them afresh.
As a writer we have the duty that Not a single word must be uttered/written in respect of our land by us that others may use it as a reference to malign our nation.
But this nation is a great nation, a resilient nation which bears able sons and daughters like you. Just imagine the top strategist of the entire world are up their arms to see us down but—– against all the odds we are still surviving and we know; by Allah’s grace and His help how to turns the tables against the onslaught and evil designs of our enemies.
This is Allah’s grace that He puts such songs in our heart that Pakistanis always prove to be a notch above the rest.. I just don’t think so but know so—- that Allah is with all Pakistanis.

Two persons squabbling over a single mattress, is just an indicator that the influx of IDPs has been overwhelming and supplies are as yet, not enough. Feel free to tune into PTV to investigate what is being propagated, as it calls for a healthy attitude to investigate and not a sick mind like yours, or if you have some grey matter left at all.
You Mr. incredible Indian, before I comment on Pakistani forces, I should remind you of your very own bravery when in the late 1950’s, your brave Indian army was routed within hours, by the Chinese and you lost Aksai Chin claimed by China as theirs, and on your part still remains to be reclaimed. Delve deeper in the same history books you referred till you find all this as documented history.
You the brave ones, in 1962 during the era of you’re democratically elected PM Nehru, you annexed the Portugese colony of Goa that opted to remain as such after the division of 1947 by the British, attacking and killing thousands of Goan Christians. A mass genocide tucked away in the history books, waiting to be realized by a shameless character like you.

In the history of armed conflicts our very own air marshal Noor Khan in a single dog fight shot five of your valiant MIGs over Lahore. The public watched and enjoyed it as kite flying in a Basant Mella. Ask your own army generals and brigadiers instead of pointing towards ours. The total area you lost was squared up to 400 sq miles, not kms, during the Tashkand accord. We returned your soldiers. Our media as well as yours may still be having that ceremony on record when at Wahga border, we allowed them to cross into India. We did not feed them powdered stone and glass in bread like you did to our soldiers. A total defiance of Geneva Convention because you are the only brave and incredible ones in Asia and no one else.
1971, we lost at the eastern front because of our own differences and actions. It has nothing to do with your chivalry. You on your part, right after when you lost the war of 1965, got over and posted an Israeli colonel, based in Calcutta who trained the Mukti Bahni. This is what is expected of you, and your true worth. Initiating Proxy wars is what you can do at the most and no more. Nothing there to blame Punjabis as Punjab is the most populated and it is natural that Punjabis and Pathans contribute more than others for the army simply because they are more in numbers. What the other nationality is doing after their freedom struggle, here in the Middle East is their unbeatable numbers involved in the flesh trade, of course voluntarily now. What is the difference, and so are yours. Pakistan still holds embargo on the export of its females because we respect our females more than you can ever think of. On your part female infanticide, child marriages, dowry deaths are world known facts. Shame on you the incredible Indian.
You thought that after separating East Pakistan they will come and join you. You ended up with one more adversary on your borders. Border shelling and killings had happened in the past and continue. They are no friend of yours. Admit the facts and your follies. In addition you provided us with an excuse of direct intervention into your very own affairs because you the brave ones initiated proxy wars.
I should congratulate you that the only Hindu state, Nepal is Hindu no more because of your blunders in treating a landlocked state. They have joined the Mao group. What about the ‘Seven Sisters’ on your north eastern borders. More than 170 insurgencies are active within India. Tamils are opposing your north. Dalits are a pain for you, take it where ever you want because your very own cast system is your demise. How much area you have lost to the nixalits, I’ll leave it for you to calculate. Don’t use your so called Vedic math, use real math instead. Imagine calculus, the big bang theory, the atomic elements, the use of decimal and zero all being rediscovered in twentieth century and that also in the form of poetry. What a laugh. Where were you after 400AD till now? Why there is a history blackout in the period I have mentioned. We don’t you have any solid scientific evidence to support your Vedas and Puranas, nothing more than fables, myths and superstitions.

Regarding SAWAT we are at the moment flushing out those elements that you have trained and financed in Afghanistan. Why don’t you come out clear, dispatch you brave army to help NATO, instead of fighting proxy wars, and let us enjoy when the Afghan freedom fighters will administer you medicine you are so used to now because I think the flogging your 10000 strong received from the tiny state of Sri Lanka, during Rajiv era was not enough.
