Islamabad Plane Crash: Conspiracy or Accident?
By Mahina Murtaza • Jul 28th, 2010 • Category: Politics • 37 CommentsIt’s not yet another stereotypical blog post about so-called imaginative conspiracy theory. I am not really trying to find a conspiracy behind the sad and very tragic air crash in Margalla hills of Islamabad earlier this morning, in which hundreds of people are missing and causalities are very high.
Pakistan has a very horrendous history of plane crashes with high profile figures getting lost. Though, may be in this typical Airblue flight there might be no high value figure, but nonetheless it has come at a time, when the internal and external issues are gripping Pakistan badly.
The biggest one is the fake degree issue followed by power crisis, and shortages of everything. Now the media limelight is away from all the issues, and for days now this plane crash will be the talk of the town, throwing everything else behind the scene, and the issues will become stale.
What do you think, was it an accident or a conspiracy?

One can see that this is your first (and depressingly miserable) attempt at attempting to use your brain to come up with something intelligent. You must learn that external make-up (which the only topic you have previously written about) does not help in improving the intellectual/emotional make-up of your brain.
Still people are under the wreckage, and you are smelling rats there. Fault with your nose.
can you please stop ?
Mr. Mahina Murtaza, Let me tell you about another theory you are probably unaware of. It’s about your birth, you know there is big genuine theory behind it. America, Israel and India wanted to declare Pakistan “a senseless, heartless and idi*tic nation” for that they need people (Pakistanis) who are completely insane and idi*ts of highest level, so they conducted some experiments here, you are result of one of such experiments, a perfect blend of senseless & heartless Pakistani. Now all enemies of Pakistan can use your existence to declare that all Pakistanis are like you (read Idi*t mor*ns).
thanks for reading
What do you expect from a blog that used to glorify Zaid Hamid and the Taliban! Sharam karo. Have you ever wondered that you might be psychotic? Get your head checked.
@ Zion Hamid a.k.a Bashir Akhund: We never glorified Zaid Hamid, Taliban or anyone else. Its an open and candid public blog and everyone has his/her view.

People, Please, At this time we should not fight amongst one another. What happened is truly sad and moving. I ask that we Pakistani’s stay united in our tough times. Its always easy to blame and point fingers, but maybe we need to get our heads out of conspiricy stories and realize we create the controversy ourselves. Right now lets focus on the present. Give our prayers and help in any way possible to the victims of this dreadful accident. Mahina Murtaza, please try to divert your attention to more important topics rather than spreading controversy without proof. Stating your opinion is fine, but do not do it on a published level keep a diary. or perhaps you should write for entertainment weekly. It is not a time for us to be divided, but come together as One. If you have to talk about such controversial issues, please respect the people who have fallen and wait for their bodies to atleast be put to rest.
You are such a shameless creature! Get a writing class, read some books or newspapers, learn something about this world before trying to opine on serious matters. And please stop listening to that jackass conspiracy nut Zaid “HinJew” Hamid. FFS!!!
The country does indeed have a history of trying to make sure that important issues are ignored by the media, but even if there was something fishy behind it, I agree with the above post. Respect the deceased and let them at least be put to rest before speculating without sufficient grounds.
Nothing could be ignored. You have a point!
Hmmm… what do I think?
I think you’re insane and have clearly lost the plot.
Sad really, because you do seem capable of stringing together a coherent sentence or two.
Some people have got strange mind set- and and make strange interpretations - Posts of such persons should never be published
Of course it was an accident!!! You are sick
Hey stupid writer,,
Want fame through this??? Stand naked in your street…you will be famous anyway
atleast it would be not as pathetic as you this rubbish!!!
Its just amazing that our Govt & information Minister have two versions of Black Box. The first he confirmed that the Black box of the plane was found and at 9pm he say its not found. I was at the spot with a CAA guy who confirmed that the Black Box is found and waiting for the concerned authorities to be handed over, he was communicating with the crash site through his wireless. Everyone is saying that its the Capt’s fault but i believe its not as he was a very senior pilot with around 30000hrs flight experience so given below are my observations:
1. There was no thunderstorm in Islamabad with normal rain and the mountains were covered with clouds otherwise rest is all clear at certain height so why the pilot didnt follow the route and went towards mountains which is 4 to 5 nautical miles away from the normal round which he needs to take. I cant believe with such experienced pilot he doesnt know where are the mountains and what was the altitude of the plane.
2. What happen to Aircraft collision avoidance systems which is pre-installed on every plane and atleast you get to know 5 miles before what is coming to you if there is any collusion to happen so it was off or everyone at the cockpit was sleeping.
3. Islamabad is surrounded by mountains by only two sides and the other directions its all land and no mountains so why the pilot went only towards mountains why not the open sides even he can see where are the clouds and mountains are in Islamabad. Why all the systems at the plane were unable to tell that you are flying low in altitude and there are mountains ahead.
4. The plane altitude was very low below the required altitude which is also questionable and why the pilot unable to climb the plane.
5. As PIA flight was directed towards Lahore then why airblue flight was kept there. I believe just to save the cost which means passengers life is not important as compared to cost.
6. If you see on all the news channels that they went to the homes of the victims but no one went to see the pilot family or no information about them so what they want to hide or to show to the public.
7. There were many eye witness but none of the them came on the news channels so my question is WHY. One eye witness said that the plane was not flying properly so it means there was some fault in the plane but just to safe Airline the reports are hidden and all the blame is going to the pilot.
There are many other points but what my opinion says is that there was a fault in the plane and the pilot took the plane towards mountain just to avoid civilians or more deaths in case of crash landing on the land. The black box is also now not found so this means it just vanished after being found means they want to hide information.
So all of you just think over it what point i had made.
Links for Black box found at 6pm on Geo news and other channels confirmed by Minister of Information and then at 9pm link from Geo that the Minister denied of any Black box found.
