Islamabad Kay Sholay : Jab They Met in Murree

By Ali Yar Khan • Mar 10th, 2008 • Category: Politics • 2 Comments

Things in Pakistani politics change very swiftly and rather dramatically. While Makhdoom Amin Fahim and Chaudhary Ahmad Mukhtar set their hearts on Premier Slot in Pakistan, their leader Asif Ali Zardari signs a joint declaration in Murree with Mian Nawaz Sharif and opens up a new chapter in the history of Pakistan, and this is indeed by any means a historical moment in the sixty years of this turbulent country.

Internet strifes in the rows of PPP are a reality, but one has to commend the astuteness and maturity of the leadership of both PPP and PML-N as they adopt the policy of give and take and vow to show wisdom and achieving good governance for the betterment of the country and they seem to set aside their differences and this is unprecedented in the whole world.

We Pakistanis are really different from the rest of the world. Nowhere in the world ever the two arch rival attack each other so ferociously and nastily as these two did in the 90s and nowhere in the world such rivals have shown such regard and tolerance and adjustment with each other.

I earnestly pray for the sustenance and growth of this lovely nexus.

  1. Let us wait and see - who giveth & who taketh …. it too early in the day … we have seen the tide change several times …………….. let the SUN set ……… another day may have a different story …
I too earnestly join you in your prayers for the sustenance and growth of this Wonderfull Country of ours …..

  2. This nexus of opportunistic love will be dashed very soon. How come matured people like you supporting these crooks who were die hard enemies once. they have looted the country’s wealth and still running their business empire in Dubai and Jeddah. Hell to two Chaidhries (Aitazaz and Iftikhar) for providing an opportunity to them in coming back to Pakistan.

Go to Iteffaq steel website and you will know everything and there are 48 villas in Jumearah Beach all rented by Zardari and he owns a 40 storied building on Shaikh Zaid Road. Do you think they have got all this by their fair money.

Get up ! Get up Pakistanis still there is chance and time left to kick them once again out of the country

Long Live Musharraf. Don’t loose heart, we (millions of Pakistanis) would still support you whatever be the circumstances.
