Without getting into details i would tell you, I found no difference in the ethnicity of Indians and Pakis at individual levels. I dare say, if Fakir and R (nothing perdsonal, just arbitrary examples) met some where outside India and Pakistan, they will make best friends, they will enjoy Eid at Fakirs' and Diwali at Rs', will sit together on weekends listening to the same old mukesh,rafi, kishore, nazia, nusrat, abida parveen songs. The women folks will share each others ideas on dressing up, kids will play hide-n-seek together...and others will confuse Paki to be Indian and Indian to be Paki. As far as Secularism goes, do we know the religions enough? Every religion Idol-worshipping or not aims at proving the same point and the point is there is Devine Rule which has kept this world despite difference and abhorrance , despite preyer and preys, haters and lovers intact. The hatred which was started way back just cannot be flushed away so soon but if we keep catalysing it how can we ever move ahead? If there your neighbour's house is on fire, your is the next to be. So, only wisdom demands that you help your neighbour to put that fire off. and if both the houses are on fire then first get rid of the fire and then play any game, say blame game. Tolerance and acceptance is the only way out.
