As you know that in marketing there is a managerial category that's called KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT. It deals with the data collections, surveys and other statistics of businesses one's involved in. A knowledge-manager is supposed to have a discourse of such information. Here the word "discourse" may confuse one. A discourse of reality would certainly be a knowledge as you rightly say. Otherwise there is no way to get knowledge and all what we personally gain would be just informations. When one design a theoretical concept he or she should have sure about ground realities. But theoretical concepts such as "democracy" and even "knowledge", are not necessarily reality based; they are based on how really those concepts are perceived. Great article!!
