Iqbal Town Lahore Blasts

By Altaf Khan • Mar 12th, 2010 • Category: Politics • 2 Comments

Uptill now six blasts have occurred in the Iqbal Town Lahore. Earlier in the morning twin suicide blasts rocked the Lahore city and more than fifty people died.

Now panic is being created in the Lahore city, specifically in the Iqbal Town area. Six small scale blasts have occurred. Almost all of these blasts are of the crackers with loud sound.

It seems that the terrorists are only creating the panic and terrorizing the people. This could be an act of diverting the attention.

Within one hour more than 6 blasts have occurred.

  1. We are at a worst juncture of history. There are several gigantic challenges waiting for us. The political confrontation, fragile economy, NRO and several others, however these are indigenous problems that could be resolved, simply these challenges are not big fuss. But the real and major issue that is ready to engulf Pakistan is terrorism. Terrorists are tearing apart innocent people, they are destroying our schools, our mosques our homes. The brutal beasts are totally unaware what humanity is?.

I commend and strongly back Govt for its strong and sturdy resolve to flush these bloodies. But here is a question a big question, do we want Taliban rule?. This question matters, as Pakistan’s survival is stipulated with this question?

Let’s come to another aspect of this question. In the recent scenario of bloodshed and bombing, what role PML-N played?. Any strong and obvious stance?. Let aside the stance of PML-N on extremism, what do you think about linkage of Rana Sanaullah with defunct extremist outfit Sipah-i-Sahaba?. 90 percent of people know that PML-N have very soft corner towards these so called Islamists and even PML-N patronize these outfits.

Now , I come to my question do we want Taliban rule?. If not, let asses your loyalties with PML-N. Do you not think that PML-N rule simply means Taliban rule?, as I don’t seek any difference between both. Patronizing someone means simply to be a part of some one. So for God sake, kick out these supporters of right wing of extremists and save this country.

  2. This is a cowardly act. Hum iski mazamat karte hain.
