Investigation of Benazir’s Murder

By Irfan Waheed • Nov 20th, 2009 • Category: Politics • One Response

It’s been quite a long as the Pakistan People’s Party, the party of Benazir Bhutto, the late two time Prime Minister of Pakistan is in the rule, but the case investigation of Benazir Bhutto’s assassination is going no where.

The commission of United Nations hired by the PPPP government is moving on in lethargic fashion and they are only examining the factual evidences and they are not doing the criminal investigation and so they are not going to come up with any names or the real story behind the slaying of Benazir Bhutto.

It seems that the present regime is just passing the time and it’s really shocking and incomprehensible as why not the PPP is ultra aggressive in pursuing the killers of the Benazir Bhutto. The assassination of Benazir Bhutto was a great loss to the country and it was a crime of international scale and it was a national tragedy for the Pakistan, but the government of PPP is not up to the par to make sure that the perpetrators of this henoius crime meet their fate.

The whole nation must push the government to be more active in this regard, and the chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry should take this matter into hands, as he must admit that the blood of Benazir Bhutto is inclusive in this democracy.
