Salam, My name is Awais Raza. I am 19 and a student of Graduation in Punjab College Multan. I am not a writer but a web designer but have written various articles related to Pakistan Military and Web Design. I have created a blog www.defenceblog.org which really grabbed the attention of people. It is aimed to help the people who want to join army but also it provide huge amount of material about Pakistan military. This blog is having over 1500 articles, mostly written by other authors.
I’m wondering what some of your memorable experiences are with blogging?
Not really, but an article about Indian Army rank was a remarkable blogging experience for me. It attracted huge amount of visitors from India with lot of debate.
If you had to describe life as a blogger in a Twitter message (140 characters) what would you say?
It’s Fabulous to be a blogger.
What do you think sets Your site apart from others?
Pakistan Defence Blog is different from other Pakistan Army websites in the sense that it is non profit. It is aimed to provide military articles written in a professional manner. All that with good web speed.
If you could choose one characteristic you have that brought you success in life, what would it be?
I always try to do some creative, instead of watching movies etc. I suppose that’s the best characteristic in me.
What was the happiest and gloomiest moment of your life?
Not sure but I think it was when I was got admitted to college in F.Sc.
If you could pick a travel destination, anywhere in the world, with no worries about how it?s paid for - what would your top 3 choices be?
It would be America, China and England.
What is your favorite book and why?
Like every other Muslim, Quran is my favorite book. It is because; it is most true and comprehensive book about global facts. After that, I like various computer books to study.
How bloggers can benefit from blogs financially?
Bloggers can earn handsome amount of income from their blogs if they are running a more technical blog. It is difficult to get a good rank in blogger community, but once you did it you are really going to have some more bucks, even it might become primary source of income for you. Bloggers can earn money from various sources like infolinks, google ads etc. Bloggers even have choice of writing paid reviews on their blogs to earn handsome amount of money.
What role can bloggers of the world play to make this world more friendlier and less hostile?
More and more people are creating blogs since about last 7 years. They have really changed the cause of the world. Bloggers can spread the true knowledge to make this world friendlier and less hostile.
Who are your top five favourite bloggers?
My top 5 bloggers are Khalid Baig, Ajai Shukla,

Is there one observation or column or post that has gotten the most powerful reaction from people?
There are many of my posts with big reactions from the people like Indian Army rank in the world, Military aircraft ranking etc.
Have you ever become stunned by the uniqueness of any blogger?
Not to say stunned, but really inspired from 1st web designer blog.
What is the future of blogging?
For me, blogging has a good future. I am sure at some time about every 2ndperson in the world will be a blogger or it might be everybody.
You have also got a blogging life, how has it directly affected both your personal and professional life?
Yeah, it has affected my personal life to some extent. I am really feeling cool because of blogging. It has also increased my personal popularity and increased my confidence somehow. I can’t say about professional life because it is not started yet.
What are your future plans?
I am looking to get admission in MBA further and planned to become a CSS or Military officer. Being a business man is my second priority.
Any Message you want to give to the readers of The Pakistani Spectator?
This life is very simple as well as very tough. Be a professional in your field and never give up, because impossible also says I m possible.
