Could you tell us what made you decide to blog, and what was the inspiration behind it?
A. I decide to initiate a blog and write because I had had enough of lies and half truths being peddled in the name of God, king and country.

What do you think sets Your blog apart from other blogs?

A. Pure unadulterated truth as I see it.

If you could choose one characteristic you have that brought you success in life, what would it be?

A. Being bold, straight and to the point in every thing I do in my life.

What was the happiest and gloomiest moment of your life?

a. Happiest moment, when my daughter was born. Gloomiest moments, when I lost my sister and then my mother.

Urdu Blogs have got huge potential, when do you think they will really take on the online horizon in Pakistan?

A. When a sufficiently large segment of Urdu speaking section of global community get an un-interrupted access to internet and when software is made available that does not make the text look like the outpouring of a robot.

If you could pick a travel destination, anywhere in the world, with no worries about how it’s paid for - what would your top 3 choices be?

A. 1. The Serengeti Park in Tanzania to watch the migrating animals
2. The Bora-Bora island in French Polynesia
3. Bali island in Indonesia

What is your favorite book and why?

A. Fountainhead by Ayn Rand because of the depicted ruthlessly uncompromising honesty of some of the lead characters and the evil that some other men have.

What is your favorite meal, dress, and sport?

A. Meal: Aloo Gosht
Dress: Loose fitting dress pants and shirt
Sport: Golf

What’s the first thing you notice about a person (whether you know them or not)?

A. His straightforwardness or otherwise.

Whose Future is more bright in Pakistan; English blogs or Urdu Blogs?

A. English Blogs unless my observations about Urdu blogging are addressed.

How Pakistani bloggers can benefit from blogs financially?

A. Beats me.

Do you think Pakistani bloggers tend to remain somewhat self-centered and really don’t go out of their shells? Is it the oriental style of blogging, or they are still unsure about it?

A. That, I believe, is more or less our national trait.

What do you think where the Pakistani blogosphere is right now?

A. Nowhere.

Who are your top five favourite bloggers in Pakistan?

A. In Pakistan only Teeth Maestro and that’s all.

Have you ever become stunned by the uniqueness of any blogger in Pakistani blogosphere?

A. Omer Alvi of Quinge but then he keeps coming on and off. Now you see him, now you don?t. He is a Pakistani but doesnt blog from Pakistan.

What is the future of blogging in Pakistan?

A. Bright

You have also got a blogging life, how has it directly affected both your personal and professional life?

A. Personally it has brought me both joy and anguish, and also some threats. Professionally, I am unaffected.

What are your future plans?

A. I never was one to plan for the future. I will meet it when it comes.

A. Tyrannies endure only when good men do not resist. Resist even when you know that your effort is futile.
