Indian Tv Channels Should Be Banned In Pakistan

When a child of age 6 watched his newly turned mother watching romantic Hindu dramas ,what will he or she be thinking?
Completing small house chores in a hurry to watch Star Plus and Sony TV dramas is surely a big price for the poor educational record of your children.
What is so fascinating in these dramas?,nothing except fiction,fiction which cant take place in our society,then why we kill our lives by watching such non sense dramas.
It is time for our Government to step up and ban all Indian TV Channels in Pakistan because these Dramas are turning our boys and girls into small creatures sitting all day in front of TV and failing to manage all other educational activities.
Some girls become so much excited they start wearing clothes by copying those Dirty Indian dramas and in big cities like Karachi ,Lahore ,Islamabad and Rawalpindi there is a big market for such Indian copied dresses and our girls start feeling proud in remaining Naked in Public.
Indians have no religion of their own,nor any traditions,they copy everything from west but we have our religion,traditions,occasions.
It is time for our true intellectuals to come to lime light and play their due role in banning these Indian TV Channels in Pakistan.

Your usage of the words DIRTY INDIAN shows your hatred towards Indians. You never say what is so dirty anywhere! So you are just another brainwasher of Pakistanis.
Coming to the point of your article, its summary is, YOU didn’t like the TV serial dramas that Indian channel show, so you DON’T WANT OTHERS to see it. It doesn’t matter to you, whether others liked it or not. Instead of you questioning yourself, why I didn’t like these when others does, you are asking to BAN the channels. DO YOU FIND ANY SIMILARITY BETWEEN YOUR THINKING AND THE TALIBANS?

Its not fault of Indian channels but its weakness of our women folk who have so much free time to pass in front of TV on such repetitive and torturous dramas.it is not only In Pakistan but I experienced that Pakistani community living in other countries have also addicted of such unpractical approach that I personally couldnt under stand.My home is free of such channels and ladies around me take it as big shock that how this is possible.Even my maid many time complained me that she has all such channels in her home but we are not providing her such kind of entertainment.Some sociologist must be contacted in this regards that how such unpractical and abnormal noisy dramas gained popularity among our all time free women.One of my cousin teaching in top school of Lahore also confessed that in break time even these working women usually inquire each other about the next episodes of these junks.
We can only make request to Indians to try to end this artificial drama and movie culture that itself destroying the true Indian culture and somehow depicting the wrong perceptions of our society too.This is some kind of culture mania and purpose of such productions is only monetary nothing more than it.

What a farce.
First of all, you respect your religion I guess, keep it to that. No one is accusing your religion nor its customs and traditions and rituals. You have no right to malign other religions and you are not good enough to do that.
Now coming to the channels, they are your choice and you can easily switch off the TV if you don’t want to see the serials. Why are you saying them as dirty and bad. If you cant control your children and stop watching them so that they can study shows that you are not good parents and not good enough to handle your own kid.
There are lots of shows and events and whatnot that goes on and on and on these channels it you who have to decide what your children can watch and for how much time. The education record that you are talking of, children in India are also watching these channels, but parents here switch off the TV so that the kid can go and study. Check the results that are just out for one of the examinations, you will see and understand what I am saying.
Stop giving excuses for your impotency. Start owning up things and changing them for your better future.

And as you know Hindus can travel anywhere in the world with atom bomb in their pocket. No one een suspect them ( Except Pakistanis ). They killed our brothers and sisters in so many places and still we won’t say they are terrorists/bad people.
Just wear islamic dress code + dhadi and just travel in any western air lines. All your activities will be monitored and if you utter some simple words like “This is a safe seat ” then you will be arrested.
Hindus got their own bad things too. I don’t want to point out them. Why should I? I will make good hindus as my friends and bad people(hindus+muslims+others) as no one. Why don’t u follow my style instead of criticising others religions.

you know when our swat valley was being bomb and under aerial attack, people were fleeing from the scene.The only doctor left in our valley for saving the poor souls in his hospital was dr kilash a Hindu who resumed working to help his people in that time of extreme chaos.He is living there for all his generations so he opted death on flee for saving his Muslim friends.So Dont try to mix different things.The point to discuss is that Indian entertainment media is strongly deviating from moral and social culture of south Asia but lot of our directors have also started following their styles.So its not matter of Islamic norms or Hinduism.It is just tuning the people toward lower and unpractical quality of life through power of media for gaining cheap publicity and huge money.
People of Pakistan can live without basic necessities but not the Indian channels. Cut down power supply, take away petrol, reduce water supplies, raise inflation, start a civil war…do anything and this nation would stay numb. But ban the Indian channels and see…every one and their aunts will be out on the roads, shouting and protesting

There are more than 250 crore people who are Hindus and follow Hindu religion.
Hinduism is not a religion but it is a way of living put in place by people long long back when Islam as a religion was not even present.
Your religion Islam is not more than 1400 years old, whereas Hinduism is as old as 5500–2600 BCE, which is the oldest.

Yaseen, by belittling others religion you are showing how you treat your own religion and what it teaches you. As far as I know people following Islam and Muslims in India are not taught things like this, IT MIGHT BE IN PAKISTAN THAT YOU ARE TAUGHT THINGS LIKE THIS.
So keep your knowledge about other religions to yourself. If someone says or shows something that is done by Muslims in a certain area you guys will be the first to shout that they are maligning Islam religion.

We can also say that this article should be banned in India or this whole website or the all websites of Pakistan? Its also a fact that Pakistani channels are banned in India, but in this information age you cannot leash the truth and lies within borders. Banning a channel or website is simply ridiculous.
By the way, I dont see much difference between the soaps of star, sony, zee and the soaps of ary, geo, hum, vision, indus and even PTV.
And also, Mr. Tipu Sultan a.k.a Yaseen, we must not target any religion. Many Muslims and Christians also work in Indian dramas and movies. What about them?

Dear all ,
First of all, please post your comments over the topic and do not discourage the writer since different people have different views & views are often difficult to be changed.
From the religous view point, Niether the indian dramas/ films nor pakistani’s are allowed to be watched as per Islamic rule due to having vulgarity in both and all such channels should be banned if one would like to make good his second life, which is about to be started soon ( undoubtedly) or to be stayed away to watch these channels instead of to banning them.
From the social and practile view point , it has now been very difficult to implement such an strategy which might ban these channels since we have been Used to watch all this vulgarity and on the other hand our government is simply INCAPABLE to implement any such strategy which might refrain them to fill their own pockets .
so these channels may neither be allowed to be banned by the public ( COMMENT # 13 is quite agreeable in this regard ) nor by the government due to their own interest.
